There were many who wanted to overturn the result of a free and fair vote from June 2016, by making the electorate vote again ;).

Really? I think the Trump supporters are much more likely to protest and riot if Trump tells them that the Democrats have 'stolen' the election, than would be the case if Trump is re-elected. And the the Trump supporters are the ones with most of the guns.

I'm not sure if Biden is a better option than Trump. Trump may be an awful president but at least he knows his Granddaughter isn't his actually his Son. I'm not sure someone who

    1. Can't remember his son is dead
    2. Thinks his son was a senator when he wasn't and
    3. Cant tell the difference between male and female
is someone we want in charge of the world biggest nuclear arsenal

    I agree.

The vote for the return of the emojis clearly won and those that run the site have also clearly ignored the wishes of the majority that voted.

The Prez is now criticising his own lawyers for not doing their jobs properly. Apparently, they haven't come up with any evidence of irregular voting to support his earlier allegations!

The media are supposed to be impartial - its getting dangerously close to brainwashing.
He's been 'misquoted' on numerous occasions - e.g the 'bleach' comment. Yes, he did say it, but it was spun and delivered out of context. There's numerous other instances.
He's a dick and a braggart and should never have been anywhere near the White House, but the Democrats put that evil B!tch Clinton up as their candidate, any Republican candidate would have walked the 2016 election.

Can we just rejoice in his losing?

Gloating is poor form but just the sight of his kid standing outside some random government building saying "it's not fair" and stamping his feet like a small boy was hilarious.

But then the lawyer of a global real estate businessman making out that his client was on the side of the regular guy and the other side didn't care about the working man was particularly annoying.

Nah, that's way too simplistic Al. Politicians are people. You can't tar them all with the same brush. I don't agree with Tories, but I can tell the difference between Ken Clark and Norman Tebbit or between Dominic Grieve and Philip Davies.
Most politicians, of whatever stripe, go into politics because they believe they can contribute towards making society better (even if I don't agree with their definition of what a better society looks like). Yes, many of them get corrupted or cowed by the system along the way but some still retain integrity.

Trump is different. Most of his life he's had no interest whatsoever in politics or politicians except in as much as he could wheedle money and favours from them. His decision to run for president was purely motivated by his narcissistic desire for personal adulation, fame and power. Once he realised he had a potential voter base for his brand of vindictive authoritarianism he cynically adopted a raft of policies and stances (anti-abortion, Bible waving etc) that would appeal to those people. He would drop those things in a heartbeat if he thought they were no longer contributing to his popularity. The man has no moral compass or shame whatsoever. Everything he says and does is filtered through the only thing that matters to him - his self image. He's a megalomaniac who simply cannot process the fact that he has lost the election fair and square.

What happened yesterday doesn’t bother me one bit. In fact, let them crack on. It’s all a lovely, perfect end to his whole tenure, watching the oaf squirm, trying to find any thread that he can cling to that might enable him to stay in power, while the rest of the world look on and piss themselves laughing knowing he’s just making himself look even more of a tw@t, and all the while those that followed him self destruct. It’s absolutely glorious.

Your silence from you (and others) about what happened yesterday, compared to your moral outrage during the BLM protests is deafening.

Sleepy Joe continues to bumble on I see.

He stumbled 3 times as he boarded Air Force One yesterday, falling to his knees at one point. This after referring to Kamala Harris as President Harris earlier in the day.

Earlier in the week he labelled Putin as a killer, which must have nearly started a new Cold War with Russia as Putin recalled their Washington ambassador.

Sleepy Joe might be a nice man, but surely, he is unfit to be the President of the USA?

Sleepy Joe appears to be a terrible option for presidency. Not Trumps biggest fan, but I would still be a Republican if I lived over there.

I bet China and Russia are rubbing their hands at the prospect of dealing with Sleepy Joe

Watch this space on Deutsche Bank (who loaned Trump a couple of billion dollars for his real estate business) and how they will call default on his debts. I think Trump is DB's biggest creditor and they are involved in some of the biggest projects in the world. They held off whilst he was the Prez but he'll soon be losing that protection. One of the many reason why he will be digging in to protect his position.

Is there any evidence of electoral offences that have affected more than one or two votes? I think in 2019 the only conviction of an electoral offence was from somebody holding on to the ballot box to stop somebody putting votes into it.

There is almost no point doing it. There are a handful of high profile incidences of it in the UK (looking at Lutfur Rahman and his fraudulent Tower Hamlets campaign), but these are few and far between. It would be extraordinary and hugely damaging for a major political party to be caught doing it. The idea of mass and widespread electoral fraud is more a figment of most people’s over-active imagination to scramble to rationalise something that doesn’t make sense to them.

Yep, I’ll include the Remain campaign in that, too.

What the US really needed was a landslide victory to either side, as it stands the country is more divided than ever and the Trump supporters ain't just gonna go away. Some interesting times ahead probably involving a lot of civil unrest. The old divide and conquer.
