Strongly agree with both parts of that! A lifetime with the former, and about 36 years now with the latter... Oh for the days of being young and stupid and playing a gig without ear protection and with a speaker or two right behind your head...

My late Dad, god bless him, first went in 1921, the season City got relegated from the first division.
He followed them through thin and thinner until watching them win at Wolves, with tears rolling down his face, to get back into the top tier again.
78 years, never give up on your team.

Honestly, no. If the club ceased to exist for some reason I would go to watch Silsden down at the newly developed 4g pitch at Marley.

You've though! You lie to yourself because I am not having that you find the decisions the club are making in recent time acceptable plus you are happy to sit in you white Y fronts accepting the rubbish that the clubs dishes out.

You just like football..You don't care for the club! Difference!

It’s only football not life and death. We’ve been in lower leagues for many years. We have had some good times but probably more bad times.

This club needs stability and full team rebuilding. This takes time, love or hate McCall he is one of the clubs most loyal servants and only wants the best for this club. I would rather have that than some pretentious so called as been or mercenary who just wants a wage.

A supporter will follow through good and bad times.

I’ve followed City for 35 years home and away - through thick and thin. I now do Quite a bit of sponsorship with Big match sponsorship - player sponsorship - Business club etc.
I will never stop supporting city and it’s not just about how good the team is and what league we are in. For me about the match day experiance either home or away.
I have already told the club that under the present regime I am not putting any more of my hard earned in next year - and that’s the first time in 15 years. I just feel dejected with it the way the club is run from the top.
I will still attend (when allowed) because it’s in my blood but season ticket and car park space only from now on.
Hopefully they prove me wrong and we turn this around but it’s going to take one almighty effort.

Moving to Greece in 2002 prevented me from going to watch City week in, week out, although I still followed the games from there kick by kick, via the internet and SKY and being in a foul mood for days whenever they lost.
On visits to the UK my wife and I always took in as many games as we could and even had season tickets, even though we knew that they would hardly be used (in fact we told the club that they could sell on our seats as long as we got a couple when we visited)
Over time we lost our appetite but still wanted the team to win of course, there will only ever be one club for us.

Now that we are back in the UK, we don't have that eagerness anymore and before lockdown, whenever we went to games it wasn't as exciting, we had lost that 'buzz'.
Now....(many will disagree) I refuse point blank to watch any game live (or until after kick-off on TV) whilst teams and officials are 'giving the knee' and will not return until this stops - enough is enough with all this BLM stuff and giving the Black Power Fist. I have had contact with Ryan Sparks about this also.

My first game as a youngster was in 1955 and I was hooked ever since. Time changes people and family becomes more important, however when fans are allowed back into stadiums we would like to return to VP again on the proviso above.

For me Sparks saying this season was basically over and handing McCall a year extension I thought was a massive insult to any fan, supporter, the sponsors etc! Insulting!

He more or less said the club knew this season we wouldn't challenge but why not be honest from the start but instead sponsors, fans have just wasted their money in these difficult times.

Rupp also basically just passing the book like he doesn't care. I would rather give my money to charity!

Mate I totally agree with you on this - how long is this going on for - I am no racist and have a lot of Asian / Black friends who I have massive respect for. is this the new normal and we have to do it at every sporting event for the fear of being called Racist?
We even stopped the applause of the NHS after 10 weeks. I would like some clarity on this TBH.

Do as I did Chrisako and let your feelings known to Ryan Sparks and the club. Only when fans start to complain will they listen. If this continues when fans are allowed back then it will only create animosity.

Sparks can't do anything. It's an EFL matter.

However, Bradford City's problems are a miles bigger than players taking a knee. I couldn't careless if the players did handstands before kick off!

I can never, ever not support BCAFC.

I could see Valley Parade, from my bedroom window in Undercliffe, from the age of 13 years old in 1966.

It's a shame the owners, management and indeed the players, no longer have any pride in the Club.

Nothing has changed for me, my pride in BCAFC is built on memories.

The team of today plays for financial remuneration, I couldn't even spell that at 13, well I probably could but it meant nothing to me, the same as our player's names mean nothing to me now.

I’m not happy with our situation, place has been ran into the ground since it was sold.

But no, I’m City all the way.

Give it a rest Fordy, from a position of 20th near Christmas he would look a muppet saying we are aiming for the play offs or promotion because 'fans' like you would then hurl further insults at him for failing if it wasnt achieved. He spoke very well yesterday but he will know better than anyone he now has to walk the walk - I think most fair minded fans would agree with him in this very strange season that our first objective has to be to move away from where we are in the table so we are not constantly looking over our shoulder, we can then reassess our aims.
He did say promotion out of this division has to be the objective next season - by then we will hopefully have a more settled structure at the club, a much better and more equipped squad of players and the fans will be back to strengthen the revenue streams we so badly need

    Happyclappers will love this...

It's so fecking hard to get motivated when our team is so bad. It's very hard motivated when our manager is so bad and repeats the shit over again.

Here's hoping 2021 is much on all fronts.

It is the wrong question to ask as the recent results are proving City have given up on us.

    Ambition?

    Nothing has changed.

Getting moist just waiting for the next season ticket video.
