If all the clubs have a salary cap at £1.5 million, then apart from some on an existing salaries (a bit like some of our own players signed pre this season) then Tranmere and all the League 2 clubs have the same amount of cash.

This season could be the last exception what with those signings that took place before being accounted for.

Either way, if a team is stupid enough to blow a wad of money on players as hopeless as Donaldson and Guthrie, you're automatically making other teams look like world beaters.

It's an EFL matter. - It's not though is it...QPR didn't do it back end of last season...Les Ferdinand, their Director of Football (like them don't you Fordy!) said it was just tokenism now and didn't mean anything until things changed....which I agree it is.

QPR have a problem with the EFL.

Anyway I believe QPR are doing it now. So yes it's an EFL issue.

Tokenism or not I couldn't care less.

As I say it's the least of Bradford City's problems

The first sentence is a little dramatic IMO, but I do understand and agree with the sentiment.

The second I 100% agree with. I see more life in the club and understanding of the current game and business behind it, in my local teams in Surrey (Woking FC been one of them). Our model has felt tired and spiralled out of control since the club was sold. The early days when Mason was still here it felt stable, but on reflection this was the beginning of the fall.

The whole approach, both on and off pitch needs an injection of life and bringing up to speed with the modern game. There are modern and innovative ways of doing this which don’t have to cost £000,000’s, so here’s hoping these recent changes are the first step forward. There’s already a lot of pressure on a very young CEO and failing management team and playing staff - it will be interesting to see how long the patience of supporters will last.

I will never stop supporting City but I feel like a father whose daughter has been brainwashed into joining some weird cult. You'll always love her and she'll always be precious to you but you hate what she's become and the people responsible for it.

I can relate to that. The frustration comes from something you love being run differently to how you would want.

I don’t think my expectations are unreasonable. I don’t have a desire for us to be a premier league club. I went everywhere when we were and knew we’d likely get beat. These days it’d be even worse. Watching a team try to gather a enough 1-0 wins and draws to stay up just to have to do it all again next season doesn’t interest me. However, we should be top end of league 1 and ambitious enough to compete in the championship. I’d like us to be playing and beating Huddersfield and Leeds when their bubble inevitably bursts.

But all fans are the same. My M.D is a staunch Sunderland supporter as are a few of the lads who work for me and they are going apeshit, yet they’re 7th in league 1 and very likely to be taken over by a consortium with a lot of money. They believe they are a premier league club so drawing games in league 1 and losing to Mansfield in the cup is beyond comprehension. The Geordies I live and work amongst are even worse. They truly believe they should be a top 6 club and “deserve” to be playing Champions league football. When you point out that they’ve not actually won anything since the late 60’s they don’t accept it. All Mike Ashley’s fault. Yet they won nothing under Hall and Shepherd either (who they eventually turned on).

But at least Sunderland and Newcastle fans don’t just accept mediocrity, they demand more. At City I sometimes think the “we’re lucky to have a club” bollocks gets spouted out too much and there is too much of a feeling that we should just accept a lack of ambition.

All this is true..The club made mistakes and doesn't learn from them hence why hes in the role.

No, lets not get behind him. See this is the problem with the club they take the p out of the fans/supporters etc because of their weak blind faith.

He has to prove himself. Rupp might not be fussed by fans/supporters should be.
