No. Would never give up. However, I am beginning to believe that in my lifetime we could very well be supporting AFC Bradford City the Phoenix club following our relegation out of the League and the loss of Valley Parade.

No, not after 50 years I have great memories of away days, Blackpool, Wolves, Darlington 1969, and the League Cup final at Wembley but it's the young ones now and the next generation that need to support the club for years to come. I'm not sure that will happen.

Certainly loosing the desire to watch the games I find it infuriating at the minute but I probably wouldn't stop even if we get relegated

But the problem is if we get relegated that would be the end of Bradford City AFC I fear.

Would a possible outcome be a merger with 'Avenue' renamed as Bradford United and play at Horsfall in front of 1,500 ?

    1500 seems a tad optimistic.

I don't think so what would Rupp do write it all off theres nothing at all to sell. Literally the only chance he would have to get any cash back would be to get us back into the league. Personally I think he should sell up he's supported the club financially but having a distant owner like we have at the moment isn't going to work. I don't dislike him he wasn't the one aho caused all this but he either needs to get properly hands on or let someone else do it.

There is still something wrong at the club. People will disagree but there's a toxicity that's been running through the fan base ever since we failed to get up and Mccall was sacked and Collins was appointed. It's not the fans fault before anyone thinks I'm blaming fans I'm not one man shoulders the responsibility for that. In the same way that we developed a real good relationship between fans and the club in the PP years It goes the other way too.

The club needs some serious investment. Playing staff needs a near complete overhaul along with a proper scouting network. Dedicated training facilities need development - training at a school no matter how good they've been for us isn't what a professional club with ambitions to climb the leagues does. The ground needs investment in terms of stuff like more modern dugouts etc

Having a foreign ‘distant’ owner hasn’t stopped a lot of clubs from having success. So lets leave that one there.
    • Arsenal
    • Aston Villa
    • Chelsea
    • Crystal Palace
    • Everton
    • Fulham
    • Leeds
    • Leicester
    • Liverpool
    • Manchester City
    • Manchester United
    • Sheffield United
    • Southampton
    • West Bromwich Albion
    • Wolverhampton Wanderers
The vast majority of the above are either wholly or part ‘foreign’ owned (even Welsh Ham have a 10% USA ownership). I would further guess that many are not actually ‘football’ people. What seems to be a common denominator is that they have invested in their ‘product’, in a far more radical and committed way. Arguably a foreign owner, given the above, is more likely to see a club progress.
