pointing out the potential hypocrisy in the argument. the crux of my point is essentially that people that moan about cancel culture tend to be the biggest moaners about things they dont like themselves. this thread is a fairly good exemplar of that, because who the hell cares about calling someone player of the match. it doesn't affect anyone's life in any meaningful way but its not far off the end of the world to some

I've already said that I don't personally don't care about what they call Man of the Match or whatever it is.

You can still moan about stuff, you can still cancel your own stuff so you're not paying for a service you don't like.

That's massively different to badgering sponsors and organisations to withdraw their support from individuals you happen not to agree we.

That's the difference between canceling a subscription and trying to deplatform or 'cancel culture' somebody.

The 1st is fine, the 2nd is not.

Again, you don't see the irony in your post, because you don't recognise the fundamental difference between censorship and consumer choice.

Its not a big deal for me, I haven't taken a bat and ball anywhere. I'm just not going to give them my money. Simple as that really.

Let's just get one thing clear. Only women can get pregnant. This is a scientific fact. You usually learn this around the age of 3 or 4.

To suggest otherwise is basically denying science, which is beyond absurd.

Another fact. There are two genders. You are either born Male or Female.

Some people on this thread could do with a re-cap of Key Stage One Biology.

    Don't forget hermaphrodites.:innocent:

Once someone is born of either sex if they wish to identify as a shower head or a wheelie bin or as a ghost let them. People have changed their name for years by deed poll. Nothing new. Can I say "them" or is it these or those? :eyes:

How is women wanting boots that fit them properly woke?

It is a scientific fact that different people have different shaped feet and there are key differences between men and women's feet which makes football boots unsuitable for women

Women's and men's footware are usally pretty different so it doesn't surprise me that the standard boot might cause discomfort. When you go into a sports shop Men's and Women's running shoes are usually different. I mean the story isn't asking for high heals to be up on the back of them, though that would be useful for heading.

The lack of black managers in the PL has reared its head again. Nothing about other ethnic groups though - asian, arabs, etc.

Did you read the article? I've got no problem understanding that women have different shaped feet, but it then goes onto say that boots are "largely designed for white males". Why need to specify "white males"? I don't hear, or haven't heard of any of our male black England stars complaining about boots. Nor have I heard any of my black teamates complaining that their boots have been made for white guys feet, and they struggle to get them on. I find it completely uneccesary - especially when the article is focusing on the problems women have regarding boots.

Because there are differences in foot size and shape in different ethnicities, toes are just one example.
