Isn't it just a phrase used to describe people that complain about what other people do or think if they don't agree to it? So can be used just as equal in both directions.

I don't think some people get the difference between cancelling your own subscription and cancelling the performer.

There's a big difference between withdrawing your purchase of that and encouraging others people and - mainly - sponsors to withdraw their support.

One is personal choice, the other is cancel culture.

 

You're completely wide of the mark. Yes, I've cancelled my subscription. That's me exercising my own choice to not give business to organisation's who take it upon themselves as to what content is and isn't acceptable for me to watch/listen to. That's my choice, not theirs. Am I campaigning for Spotify to not be accessible to others? Or for others to do the same? No. So no, I'm not trying to cancel Spotify.

If you can't see the difference between platforms censoring content to satisfy woke obsessed individuals and limiting choice on that basis, and individuals making their own choices, I can't really help you. Its not hard. Make all (legal) content available and let people decide for themselves what they want to consume.
