He will be in a lot of lists as they pay out after 10 games so we decided to wait until the end of the season to make an appointment assuming he stays on as caretaker manager bookies would pay out on him even if he doesn't get the job on a permanent basis.

 

We need a manager the players can gain respect from.

Park, surely you can agree that he is out of his depth on the football side of things? It isn't slagging him off to say that, it's just facing facts. He's a young inexperienced CEO that needs some help from a knowledgeable older head with a background in footballing matters. I hope he gets it, do you, or do you think we should just let him crack on as things are?

 

I don't think Stuart has taken a severance package from the club on any occasion. So a 2 year contract or 3 year contract was pretty irrelevant to the club.

 

In my opinion the most logical option would be to let Trueman see out these last 15 games. We're all but guaranteed to be finishing somewhere in mid-table, and we take our time to appoint the person who is not only the right man for the job but also the right character for the job.

 

Surely get someone in for the last 10 games and assess the out of contract players.
Great chance to see what we've got and what we need.

Financially it made no difference. It would have been even more difficult for the club to recruit players in January 2021, with a Manager on a short-term contract.

 

At this stage we need a really experienced manager.

We should be going all out for Neil Warnock until the end of the 2022/23 season. He would have a real shot of taking us up and getting us playing proper football.
