I don’t agree we need to get someone in this season so that he can make judgments on the present players.

 

Spot on 15 games is a lot of points either to be gained or lost, confidence must be rock bottom in the dressing room the need for a Experienced hand is a must to steady the ship.

To be fair to Fenway, they took over Liverpool in 2010, and they've only appointed three new managers; Dalglish, a club hero, replaced by Rodgers, who got three years, and Klopp has been there since.

That's really good, and definitely not an example of a club that hires and fires.

Manchester City had Mancini for four years, then Pellegrini for three years, now they've got Guardiola.

Again, these aren't teams that hire and fire, and we can't just pretend they were successful the entire time.

It's a bit of a false argument to suggest they were hiring and firing until they landed Klopp and Guardiola because they weren't.
