If it does go gently on Aleman, could be emotional.

he could post the updates on the COVID thread? Didn’t this start by discussing how the season would end?

How can this be explained any other way than "northern" bias or racial profiling?

Figures for northampton way ahead , reaching numbers never reached in bradford yet still not locked down locally

Well, my efforts seem pointless if lockdowns are now going even more local. Plus it also seems pointless when deaths keep going down rapidly, regardless of whether reported new cases go up, down or sideways. They're either not tracking real virus prevalence well or else the virus has become much weaker recently. I'm quite happy to call it a day now.

More than half of all UK hospital admissions have been in Wales in the last week. Wales had more admissions on August 18th than the Northeast and Yorkshire had in the WEEK to August 18th, and with a population only about 35% as large. Hospitalisation trends have not tracked testing trends for many weeks, which says a lot about the testing.

Northampton figures have spiked due to a massive outbreak at a sandwich factory rather than across the city, so they have shut the factory

I tend to agree but would hesitate to use the word "surely" the way things have gone in recent months.

Well, we’ll see. Quite a speculative list. Bingley has been 0 to 2 throughout the local lockdown but doesn’t appear on the list, perhaps that is an oversight, looks like a quick glance at the map for one day and list (most) places not coloured blue and as Storck says, numbers vary. Quite a few riders mentioned to be discussed by councils and MPs.

Yep, it only takes one family to all test positive and suddenly you are off the list and staying on lockdown.

Northeast and Yorkshire hospital admissions of 10 makes the last 7-days down slightly again to 58 which bodes well. The Yorkshire and UK trend still looks to be flat to down even if Wales looks flat to up and makes up just over half. (Wales' 54 makes for slight 7-day rise to 326, I think, without a calculator.)
