Started a New Poll as the last one included dates which had long gone.

An opportunity for everyone to have a fresh think about the possible time, that we will be allowed back to Valley Parade.

Blackpool are now selling season tickets with the following caveats

In the event that any home fixtures included as part of your season ticket are played behind closed doors, or with a reduced capacity that affects your entrance to the stadium during the 20/21 season, it will be the Club’s intention (subject to governing body permissions) to provide you with a streaming voucher for the iFollow system or some equivalent service to view the fixture free of charge.

If social distancing measures are required within the Stadium and this affects capacity and/or where supporters can sit, the Club will try to allow as many supporters as possible to sit in the seat that they renew or purchase. If a reallocation is required, the Club will seek to place supporters as close to their normal seat as possible.

There will be no refund to a season ticket holder in the event a fixture must be played behind closed doors or due to a reduced capacity stadium so long as the fixture has been made available via a streaming service.

    Cant argue with that.
I think we shouldn’t be too far behind. I remember sparks saying on the zoom forum that we had something that was around 2 weeks away?

Unless I have missed it, I'm surprised that the EFL hasn't consulted with fans about what they want from the iFollow service.

It is pretty obvious that it will form a major part of how league football will be experienced for the next year at least.

While I'm not expecting Sky Sports level of interactive service, I do think the product offered needs to be better than had been on offer in the past.

    Thoughts?

The no refund if the fixture is made available via streaming service will put lots of fans off.

Because people will want to attend games.

So, basically Blackpool at saying if you have to watch Ifollow all season then tough.

I just don't see the value of Ifollow season ticket if you live in the UK and can get to games.

But if the games are behind closed doors or restricted ticketing you can’t get to games. That’s the point

If I've made no mistake, Bradford's Pillar 1+2 new case numbers combined since available from 3rd of July is:
    32,28,14,31,39,26,22,30,27,21,29,36,38,33,32,27,27,33,35,50,30,23,39,38,41,44,46,57,31

    From August 1st
    20,60,24,41

Don't worry about "sharp rise" headline in this article. Yesterday's numbers in Yorkshire were mostly significantly down and they've bounced back. Bradford's rolling 7-day average has edged down slightly in recent days.

And that's why I don't think saying no refund if you can't get to games works.

So, basically Blackpool can just say get 2k of the same fans to go to the games when posible and the rest tough you have Ifollow.

I just don't see the value of paying x amount for Ifollow.

If we are not confident of getting fans back in the government really needs to say. Other countries are pressing ahead to allow fans back.

But if people buy a ticket knowing that condition up front, I am sure many will buy them anyway. Fans commitment to the club is unrivalled. Every club up and down the land is the same. I still think we will have strong ticket sales. Fans want that chance to get to games. Even knowing it might not be every week. And fans will know it means the club don’t miss out on the usual ticket sales money

    Will it hell.
    Read the Blackpool statement again.
It's not rocket science and if I follow works it's the perfect solution in my opinion.
I won't miss a game even if I'm not in attendance.

It might put 1 or 2 off but in the main fans will still buy a ST. Without that revenue a lot of clubs will go to the wall quickly and that would include us.

Watching on Ifollow is about the best solution available until fans can be allowed back in numbers.

Id say for at least any home games in the first month or even 6 weeks of the season we will not be able to attend in person. I think most fans will buy tickets with that in mind knowing they won’t get down to VP for all 23 home games. I follow is the only way really

It's a different bill! Football is about going to the games.

Clubs will go to the wall anyway like @wetherbywhaler@wetherbywhaler is saying. EFL needs a government or PL support fund if fans are not allowed back in.

Why do you keep going on about it being different bill? It isn't, it's still a season ticket but with the option to get a free pass to watch the game on Ifollow if fans aren't allowed into the ground.
