    Failed tests
App no longer being held as a priority £250m
    Painting a plane £1m
PPE from Turkey that was rubbish and sat on the ground for days.

All the above is what he has already wasted tax payers money. All this within a month.

He promised poor kids laptops and broadband and it's not been delivered. He promised that overseas doctors/nurses won't have to pay entry fees but they're still paying.

The man is just a liability for the country. Hiding behind Furlough but has no plans to get people back into work or a full education plan.

Masks should not be linked to a reduction in the 2m advice. Masks should not be advised at all if infection rates are low because there are risks from masks. They can cause itching, skin rashes, acne, eczema and dermatitis with prolonged use. It is generally recommended that barrier creams should be used for prolonged mask use to protect against skin damage when masks have to be warn in high infection areas.

    https://www.health.com/condition/infectious-diseases/coronavirus/face-mask-skin-irritation

    https://www.theatlantic.com/health/archive/2020/03/coronavirus-italy-photos-doctors-and-nurses/608671/

Black masks that block out the sun's UV can increase fungal infections like ringworm around the mouth and they can then increase your chance of getting a fungal lung infection. It is preferable to wear white masks to reduce this risk. Masks also cause a modest reduction of oxygen intake and build up of CO2 in the blood that will see a slightly elevated heart rate in reponse and perhaps even a headache after prolonged use. This will generally not harm healthy people but could cause issues for the most compromised who are often those who wear masks the most - particularly those with heart or respiratory conditions.

    https://www.jpost.com/health-science/could-wearing-a-mask-for-long-periods-be-detrimental-to-health-628400

    https://www.thailandmedical.news/news/covid-19-protection-warnings-that-n95-mask-or-respirators-can-be-harmful-for-some-and-also-if-used-over-extended-periods-of-time

My advice would be to try limit mask use as much as possible in times of low infection, however in times of high infection the benefits outweigh the risks. I thought masks in March and April were advisable for all to reduce transmission but people were hardly wearing them then. Now, infection rates as so low that I suspect masks are no longer beneficial on balance unless you are using enclosed spaces with lots of people like on a bus or tube. Even then use them only during that period. I would say wearing them outside is not adviseable unless UK infection rates rise again.

Could 2m spacing be reduced? Well, why don't our politicians experiment with one part of the country where infection rates are low to see what happens? York and North Yorkshire respectively have zero positive tests and about 1 per day over the last two weeks in their hospitals but both are suffering badly economically with loss of tourism. Just lift all restrictions there and see what happens to that population, which I think is about 1.3 million. If successful after 2 or 3 of weeks, you could expand it to other low infection areas and maybe eventually everywhere. If not and they have to reinstate a 2m rule and close a few cinemas and swimming pools again after a few weeks, it would probably not be a big deal.

Can't believe anyone would still be playing the "what would Corbyn have done" card. It (much like Corbyn, to be fair!) has ZERO relevance. You might as well say what would Lloyd George have done. As Fordy says, it's the person in power now that's relevant - and sadly for our country we've elected a clown.

He was elected in December since when Brexit is well on the way to nearing the end , he then had to cope with a Pandemic whilst being ill he also has the BLM protests to contend with . To judge him on all these scenario's is totally wrong . We didn't elect a clown he lost and Momentum elected another glove puppet .

No it’s a case of what would anybody else would have done following the scientific advice and given that at the start of the pandemic we had zero testing capacity no stock of PPE and big worries about whether the NHS could cope and the end fact that we have one of the biggest population packed onto a small island

I know it was a legpull but having watched our government abandon thousands of my generation and leave them to die in unprotected care homes, to me it is a touchy subject. They even tried not to include their deaths in official figures and having been able to manage this for a few weeks, are able to understate death figures by 10000 or so. Testing is unnecessary is just one of the lies fed to us in the daily briefings. In fact Van Tam honestly answered a question relating to rules a few weeks back and hasn't been on our screens since. So even in fun, the liars name is not a joke to me.

I'm in a similar age group and until her passing 12 months ago my mum was in a care home and I would have hated her to be in there as good as they were to her,.
Maybe Boris should do a Emmanuel Macron and apologise on tv to the masses that he got it wrong, that wont make any difference to the past and the dead, but I still believe its whe this pandemic is over he and the present government have to be judged.

Agree but if a government could be charged with corporate manslaughter, it should be this one.

Would this include average Flu deaths every year ? Neary every death recorded at present is down to Covid , the true figures will emerge post the pandemic , i've lost 5 people i know all with underlying symptoms , not mentioned on death certificates .

Boris's team don't help him either. I am sure they want him out by just doing or saying stupid things. Yesterday, we had Hancock and now it's Raab. I await Boris to do something stupid today at some point.

I have a solution. The PM needs you on his team!

With your undoubted insight into the management of the pandemic, you'd be a perfect fit. ;)
