Everyone said all this before when we got relegated.

You’ll come back. It goes in cycles.

Firstly I doubt it would make any difference to them, might make us feel better, but the thought of it just makes me sad and even more depressed tbh. At the moment I am sacking it off, but who knows what tomorrow will feel like!! I don’t even want to go to the last match either!

    What does that even mean?

If we get 4000 fans next season we will suddenly become a good side and will storm up the leagues, because the owners know we don’t like the fact we have been relegated?

Haha. What absolute garbage. Since when have the fans played Center half or up front this season and been to blame?

It doesn’t even make sense. We have not and never will get relegated for having fans who turn up come rain and shine. And on the other hand we will not become a good side worth watching because we all decide not to renew “ to show the owners”.

If you think it will work then don’t go, but I bet you any money in the world a few thosaund less in the stands has no bearing on how good we will be. That all comes down to good management. Nothing else

Because it’s easy for the club knowing whatever shit show they put on, on the field or off it, they’re guaranteed 13,000 punters will show up. Support is taken for granted. Guarantee you the players who have put no effort in all season will be clapped on and off the field tomorrow. It’s the fans’ acceptance of mediocrity that makes Captain Admin’s life easy.

Once we returned to type and failed to recruit the right players in January, I knew the writing was on the wall.

I’m not looking forward to the khazi league and the long ball, kick and rush type football. I just hope Bowyer is true to his word about having a team that plays attractive football and we manage to get promoted in style, with a set up similar to Luton. A squad assembled to gain not one but two promotions.

I think that if we had managed to stay up this season then we would have had another season of struggle on our hands. We wouldn’t be able to get rid of as many players if we stayed up in my opinion ,as we probably will dropping down a league. We now have the chance to get rid of high earners that won’t want to drop down and the ones who stay will probably have a drop in wages ,so we should have a decent budget. We have the chance to rebuild not just for next season but also for a challenge in league 1 again if we go up at the first attempt. I honestly feel Bowyer will come through for us and he will more than likely be hurting from the fact he couldn’t keep us up. A team can be built to be both physical, speedy and have the ability to play good football to entertain the fans ,and also to match the physicality of league 2 , so let’s not be to disheartened because it could be a far worse future if we had stayed up .

But that has always happened that the majority down at VP with their blankets and flasks clap everything and anything.

That doesn’t change and that is the core of support we have They were there when we had 3/4 years of comintious progress under parky and the cup runs doing it. And will still be there doing it now. It’s just peaks and troughs of football and the way it goes. They are not to blame. It’s backward.

Behind the scenes, people who are still at the club, Rupp are still to blame for our demise. They knew what Edin was like first hand and let it go on for too long. Some fans knew so why did they not do more sooner to put an end to it?

A good management team is what we need. Hard work done behind the scenes is going on if we are to believe what we hear on here. The fans come and go and have very little impact on what goes on, on the pitch. Despite what the players say on social media. You are either good enough or you’re not

Captain Admin as you put it is probably working for free. An easy ride would be putting his feet up at home, and enjoying life. I don’t think for one moment fans are taken for granted. That is cynical beyond belief! The discussion in the boardroom is, sell them cheap tickets and we can give them any old crap and they will accept. I dare say there will be a few who do clap the team tomorrow, but hardly the majority. The majority of fans are just as angry as you and me at what has happened and yes the players have to shoulder a portion of that responsibility.

What would be the point of making life easy for themselves? Permanently disgruntled fans, no profit, ever increasing bills, and trying to keep the wolf from the door. I fail to see how any of that is preferable. No they have exactly the same ambition as the rest of us.

I find myself agreeing with you here mate. A fresh start, I'd rather it was a fresh start in League One but as my old boss used to say " It is what it is ".

How do you work out these " happy clappers " accept second best? They haven't got any say in the situation? We are where we are and we either accept it and move on and try to be positive about the future or we stop going to the games or just be plain negative about everything. If you want to be negative about the future that is YOUR choice but don't criticise people just because they share your views.

Wise words Bronco. That's what following City is about.
Back in May 1985 we had football in a HIGHER division to look forward to the following season but we were all far more depressed about things than we have any right to feel now. What happened in 1985 puts things in perspective.

I hope we actually win some games in League 2. I'm planning on bringing both my kids and my Mrs over to Bradford in the Autumn, and I'll be taking them to their first ever visit to VP. I'd love them to experience the atmosphere of a noisy stadium, and of course I'd like them to see goals and us winning.
I'd be very disappointed if we turn up, and the team and fans don't :(

I'm suprised we've not heard from Rupp after yesterdays confirmation of relegation. I expect him to put a few words out next week. A bit fed up of him just hiding behind his desk. Especially as that has led to where we are now. He needs to stand up and show some bollocks next season.

Completely avoidable relegation, hurts more as its so self inflicted. On the flip side, Rahic got the boot very quickly after Rupp learned what was really going which gives me faith Rupp is genuine about rebuilding the club. Also weve got Bowyer for two years all being well. as much as hes not got a tune out of the current squad, from what I'm reading/hearing he only wants to keep 3 players which is enough to earn my qualified support until we start to see some outgoings.

All in all we 1000% shouldn't be in this position, but the main reason we are is gone and if we can stay positive and shift the wage thieves out asap I think we'll be ok. As much as we've said it before, the next two windows are vital for us in clearing out the dead wood as quickly as we can. That more than anything else will determine our level of success next season. And this isn't even considering how much Edin tore up behind the scenes, which I imagine will also take a while unless those that left(not the racist kit man he can stay at home) can be persuaded to come back?
