A large section of our fans that accept second best and they love the fact city will be back in league two. I hate them happy clappers. They cant wait to go to Morecombe.

Strangely I’m not really bothered by it, maybe due to the 18 months of pure shiteness that preceded it.
In fact, if anything I’m the opposite, I wish we could fast forward and crack on with next season now. For no justifiable reason I’m looking forwards to next season.
From this season, no hope has become a little bit of hope!

When it was confirmed yesterday, it had the impact of a shrug of the shoulders on me. In the past, relegations seemed to have had more impact on me. I put this down to a season long inevitable feeling it would happen after the madness of last summer.

I am strangely looking forward to seeing Bowyer rebuild us in league 2, with hopefully a squad of players we can bond with, in the same way Parky's teams mainly had with us

This is my reaction until i actually think about it. Then come to my senses and realise its the khazi league and the football is absolutely shite, no local derbies and we are in fact the worst team in Yorkshire. I'm not looking forward to it at all, just a sense of duty to turn up. Back to where we belong eh?

For me its not been a shock so it was relatively easy to take yesterday.
Pissed off for sure but if its needed to cull the bloated squad and give the club a reason to ship out as many of the non performers as possible then it may be a blessing in disguise.
My only concern is GB has publicly stated what type of players he wants. DH did that in December and look what happened.
If that signings debacle is replicated in the summer then we will for sure drop out of the EFL.
Rupp now has to stand tall and leave GB to repair and rebuild the team.

I'm the same, actually looking forward to the summer and next season. Bowyer isn't stupid, he knows exactly who he wants rid of and what he needs and now its up to Rupp to fund it, which strangely I think he will.

Jokers like NKP, Anderson, Chicksen are out of contract so we won't have the pain of watching them ever again. Relegation could also be a blessing in terms if getting rid of some of the contracted shite who think they're too big for league 2 and don't want to take a hit in their wage.

Maybe I'm just being an idiot but I think there are reasons to be positive today.

I hope you're right 2708, but due to my nightmare a couple of weeks ago when city offered Chicksen and NKP new 2 year deals, I won't feel safe until I know for sure they have left the club.

I'm really strangely not even bothered in the slightest. Think I subconsciously resigned myself to our fate a long time ago, maybe even before those season if I think about it.

I not optimistic about next season though either. All I can envisage is more soundbite excuses about being "everyone's cup final" and more disillusioned fans who think it's easy to get out of league two while ignoring the fact we spent about 6 years down there last time.

I think the biggest difference between this and other relegations is that this is the first time it has felt like the players actually don't give a damn and haven't shown any fight or personal pride whatsoever. Part of me feels really angry about about that and part of me feels a sense of relief that we can now start to get these wasters out of our club.

Its just another period in me supporting Bradford City, if we enjoy the few good times then we have to accept the bad times.
13,000 have accepted the situation we don't have to like it but its hardly the end of the world.

I would hope that we can deal better with League 2 this time round, when compared to 2007/8.

I posted a comprehensive list of teams who either went straight back up, or within two seasons. So there is some hope.

We really need to flush the cistern clean! Get rid of the losing habit.

I genuinely hope a lot of the squad decide it is time to move on, for their own good, as the pattern that has developed is caustic and could impact on new recruits.

I slept well last night, despite the relegation.

I guess we could see that the ship was going to hit the proverbial iceberg months ago, but hoped we could lurch out of the way.

Life goes on, the sun is shining, and l will focus on other things for most of the day.:sun:

Numb really. It’s obviously been on the cards for a while. But when I think back to when we beat Northampton at Wembley, I genuinely thought we’d seen the back of league 2 forever.

I can accept our fate, I dont like it, but what really hurts is this relegation was self inflicted, yes going over old ground I know but how the hell Rupp could not question our league position alone is beyond belief.
You dont have to be a football fan to pick up a paper and look at where your investment is sat within the league and not ask some very serious questions of the guy you put in charge of running your club that to me is criminal

Okay, but remember the quality of players we had to get us out last time, a million miles from what we've had this time..
Where are we gonna find a Hanson, Wells, Marshall, Mcardle etc especially on a free and low wages....?

Since we failed to beat Plymouth, I was resigned to relegation so yesterday came as no shock.

I accept football for what it is to me, a game, pastime so don't get too worked up when things go wrong. That said, I'll be back next season, in hope of improvement. You just never know what the future has to say.

Sorry - But what a POOR set of alternatives to 'vote' for.
Whatever happened to 'We got what we deserved' etc ?

Did I want League Two ......... NO
Did I expect League Two ............. NO
Did we get League Two ......... YES - Our 'efforts' earned this prestige position .........
