You're worrying me now mate, is new investment actually needed if what Stefan says happens which I believe will now he has someone in a position to guild him, does it really matter about how much or little is put into OUR CLUB as long as we finish 20th or above, you're arguing for the sake of arguing now which is so unlike you .

 

That's certainly plausible. Rupp's neither the first nor last person to place his trust in the wrong person, especially when he's out of his own areas of competence. The penny finally dropped; he's decided to act; and then he sees that people, we, seem to be putting him on the same level as the main cause of all the problems -- I know I'd be irritated by that.

There's no right answer - one chairman must be respected, but so must the other! Both must be supported under ALL circumstances!

I believe by reading Jason's piece published yesterday on WOTP, it becomes very evident why the club were keen to postpone the flyover.
The situation regarding Rupp and onging talks were at a critical and delicate stage.

 

I was banned on C&B once for a disagreement with Ed after being there from the start.
I broke no rules or slagged anybody off. What you call being a WUM is holding opinions that differ to others and standing by them.
As for not caring about the club I have helped to save the club on at least three occasions both with money and my time.
Now instead of trying to ban anybody who disagrees with you put up an argument

We cannot use McCalls record at Scunthorpe as a reason for it being the right decision. It has no bearing. At us he had enough in the bank with the precvious seasons results and we were never outside the playoffs until he left.

And it was his squad of players here. Upsetting the Apple cart was a brash and Costly decision by Rahic

 

There's nothing wrong with debating with people with different opinions, it just goes to s*it when one or two are more bothered about winding up and point scoring, even though it's clear they backed the wrong horse.

 

Agree with this. Some seem to think I had something against Stuart, which is preposterous in itself. I was one of the few lone voices welcoming him back and was annoyed about him leaving the first time

But I said, with the wonderful benefit of hindsight - given the poor relationship with him and Rahic, he should have gone after the play-off final. Very little of any good came from the two of them basically sniping at each other, because they resented the other one not having respect for them. Stuart was simply not the same 'bouncy' individual, once we got a few injuries and we got into December.

It also has to be said that, certainly in England, Stuart still has to show that he can turn around a club when they have a serious bad spell

And you accuse me of "making sweeping statements" just how do you know at least a third of Bradford City fans agreed with McCall's sacking, did you go round the fans attending the game and do your exit poll, come on mate that is a sweeping statement .

 

I believe Rahic also envied James Mason's flair and popularity. He only wanted one face to fit.....his own.

 

I have no idea whether there is a potential new investor or not but if there is, do you honestly think everything would have been signed, sealed and delivered straight after the Oxford game? These things take time, there is due diligence to carry out and negotiations to take place, and I would imagine certain conditions requested, such as getting a certain person out of the picture, which of course has now happened. The mystery investor may never materialise but just because they haven't yet doesn't mean they won't.

Not sure it would have been a good idea though to have included Rupp out in the plane banner. I’m hearing that his cheque book has saved us from administration this last few weeks.

 

It might have been from you. However, the flyover, that let's remember was only abandoned because of the weather, was aimed at both.

 

I like to think it was just getting behind the lads FFS that did it.

Put it this way if he’d taken his bat home we’d have been raising a save City appeal fund right now, supported by the T& A no doubt. In answer to your question he could have decided to write off his investment in City rather than throw another million at it which still might not be enough.

I guess underneath it all we have a cash flow issue? Not surprising with the drop off in season ticket income and probably pay on the gate as well.

 

If the club’s financial position is as bad as some are making out that is probably along with a real chance of relegation which would make matters worse the reason Rupp has intervened now
