I personally feel Bowyer is happy with his lot now.

 

I don't. I think he still feels we're at least a wide man short and maybe another CM.

 

He’s not he said he’s got his targets but needs to move a few out first

I'd say 3 more but we'd already come to that conclusion during the short debate with @BoingBoing.

 

Bowyer has already said we need players to leave before we recruit further my guess is Taylor will sign first if funds become available Bowyer seems comfortable with players he has worked with before

Same. I don't think (from what I've seen of him) that he offers anything better than what we've already got.

 

He has played mainly in leagues above. He needs a lot of fitness work but he could be ok I think Bowyer thinks so

Better to be had out there, than Taylor ........ and probably for less £'s.
I don't want to see City players in their 'comfort zones', I want to see those who demand more from themselves, and can deliver that.

 

I know that Park, but you can't just keep throwing out 'but, but, he's played at a higher level' and expect everyone to go 'oh alright then, he must be good'. He isn't. He looks to be well past his prime and a player that 'could be ok' if he does a lot of fitness work is not someone we should be aspiring to sign.

 

Absolutely. Always noticed him - and it wasn't just because of the colour of his hair that he stood out in games. Quality player and just the sort of midfielder who Donaldson and Vaughan would love to play with. Think he's out of our league - literally - though.

 

Why is he out of our league?..spent all last season in league 2, and is currently without a club

 

That’s what we employ Bowyer for he knows the player knows the league if he signs it will because he wants him. He missed the whole of last season it’s going to take a lot of work to get him back whether he can is down to Bowyer

 

Cos we’ve only got conference and lower wage packets.

It is down to Bowyer and I trust he will make the right decision. Remember, it was Taylor that rang Bowyer and asked if he could come in to train, not the other way round.

 

Plus, Bowyers comments about Taylor are near identical to those he made about mark Cullen. I don't think he had/has any intention of signing either, he's just being respectful to players he likes and has history with.

 

Doubt the likes of Vaughan and Donaldson are on Confererence wages

Anyhow, first glimpse of Matty Palmer yesterday, think he will be better than Pringle now.
We need a tougj tackling Jay Spearing type in now, which I am confident Bowyer will get before the window closes

Yeah, and I suspect those two take up a lot of the transfer budget. Lets hope it pays dividends. Palmer looked good on set pieces, but i like how Pringle is always "busy" when he plays. Agree with you about ball winner, because Akpan and Devine are certainly not up to scratch. Perhaps he's thinking Norti could play that role. Spearing would be lovely. Are Blackpool looking to let him go? I'm still expecting a few more loans coming in also. We got good with OB last season, another box to box player like him would set us up nicely.
