I seem to remember the question being raised at the fans forum - show of hands for a new pitch, show of hands for the money to spent on players.
I think most opted for the latter.

 

Ok so how would you get him to invest more of his money, you should be able to tell us all you being a sucsessful businessman who runs a Merc, come on fordy were all ears ????.

 

It was all hypothetical from Rahic, who said if a rich benefactor gifted the club £1m what would the audience think would be the best way of spending it, me and our lad were in the minority with regards it being spent saying that team strengthening was the priority.

 

A show of hands determined how hundreds of thousands was spent? Pathetic.
Sack the owners and just let the fans put their hands up at games for the key decisions. It’s a shambles.

 

Why would we be thinking about moving home when as @Fordy117 says we have an owner with a reputed wealth of £100m +, it would certainly be of interest if someone could put some figures forward with regards what ground sharing would actually cost the club, regardless of the upheaval to the fans.
As we know it was a necessity after the fire and a bit of a novelty at the time but not sure what the effect of playing in another town or City would have on our fan base.

 

I think you are taking this far too seriously mate , it was as I posted a hypothetical situation Rahic put forward, and as we have since found out Rahic never did like the real world.
Maybe he'd have been better teaming up with Micheal Jackson and investing in his Neverland theme park.

 

Honestly, I think he's a fake like Edin and just as bad.

So, I don't know. Unlike you I will never ever defend him until he highlights he is serious about this club.

 

A move outside Bradford is a complete non starter, this isn't the Bulls situation. Valley Parade is looking 'very tired' and does need investment, thousands of those seats won't last another 10 years, the pitch is a disgrace and it's things like this that need to be taken into account when renegotiating the new lease. It needs to be done in the next couple of years really so that another possible new stadium lends itself to those negotiations. No point in leaving it till a year or two before the lease runs out.

 

Unlike me you don't have a positive comment for anyone at the club be they on the football side or working with the club.
But at least you admit as a fan/ fans there is little you or I can do exactly what I was suggesting.

 

Are we in a position to get Gibb/ the pension fund trustees to start negotiations sooner rather than later, they seem to hold all the aces?.
I do agree with regards sharing a stadium outside Bradford, that really would be a little embarrassing for a club the size of Bradford City, God forbid mate.

Is Rhodes the mug or Rupp? Rhodes sold to Rupp thinking he would move this club on and now you come out with we need a sugar daddy etc

Just admit it to yourself Rhodes let you down and the club. Now, trying to make up for it but Rupp is still mugging everyone off by not moving the club forward. Edin never had the money and admitted that from the off!

The sooner you stop caring about individuals at the club then you might want the club to move forward.

 

Of course no point leaving before the end of the lease but then what? As you say serious expensive work needs carrying out at VP... who's going to pay for that?

Everything needs to be looked into.. Headingley, Ellen's Rd, Huddersfield, Halifax.. we live in the world in which people want the best things. Kids are use to watching tv on nothing smaller than a 42inch ..people are not going to want to go to a dump of a stadium with nasty toliets and broken seats.

 

Don't go on so you'll have a heart attack, you've answered my question you cant do anything with regards Rupp putting more money into the club, now stop sulking.
