    Let's not wax lyrical over this, If you cant grow grass in this recent weather , with all the equipment the groundsman will have to hand ?
    Walking past any local half decent cricket ground currently, you'll see there all looking pristine, without half the manpower/equipment I'd suggest

    The proof will be (If we get started) 2/3's of the way through next season when it's p!$$ed it down solidly for 3 weeks next February 2021.

    Exactly. Seem to remember it looking decent for the Liverpool charity match this season too And look how it ended up

    Sort of agreeing with @Lard Arse@Lard Arse . The photo looks great but take out any effects and what does it really look like? I know when I took photos I posted in the 1st week of June last year,from a higher point, the pitch still had obvious problems which became very problematic very early in the season. Hopefully the pitch really is in as good a condition as that pic shows.

    At least the current lockdown has allowed the new pitch to bed in for longer.
    In previous years when its been re-seeded the grass has hardly had chance to get established before friendlies and league games are played on it. That has been a significant factor in bear patches appearing in the past.

    We rarely " play on the pitch " last few years the ball spends more time in the air . :brig::brig::brig::brig::brig:

    They have spray painted the sand to blend in with the bit of grass we had
