No mate I can't to be fair. I'm not sure you'll find someone reporting particular wages though? A quick google responded a few "facts" but who really knows.

I will say, the website you've quoted talks about our "average" we have 25/30 players in the squad. It's extremely feasible that people will be on 2/3x the squad average. There's a reason we couldn't get people off our books over the summer.

absolute disgrace looks like Rhodes saving a few quid on avoiding any maintenance last summer is going to cost the club a lot more than he saved, preventative maintenance is always cheaper than having to start again Rhodes needs to stop penny pinching in the wrong places

Agreed. A disgrace. An embarrassment. Games shouldn't be allowed on a pitch like that. It could very easily lead to a serious injury, let alone the fact that you cant play football on it.

The penalty boxes dont look too bad, but that's because no buggers have been in em for most of the season.

No more excuses, it needs fixing properly in the summer.

Maybe Rhodes has said to Rupp the pitch needs sorting out, there is little they can do with the shocking weather we're getting, let's see what the closed season brings.

Isn't any pitch improvements coming from the playing budget as our current owner aint keen on stumping up more brass.

Or can someone else dispute this and say with further McBurnie windfall the fairy godmother shall sprinkle the pitch with showers of gold.

Hearing the club/Rupp have over £1m still to come from the McBurnie deal with Sheffield staying up, which by the way Julian Rhodes got written into the McBurnie deal, now that would be a great time to get the pitch sorted for a while, will it happen watch this space ?.

IIRC we didn't spend all the money initially earmarked for the pitch-£25K not spent?

We all saw the drainage videos vertidrain?? etc so will it actually cost that much to finally do the work and bring the pitch up to scratch?
Surely that's just the top dressing and seeding or whatever its called?

The pitch does drain with the new drainage but the playing surface is just dreadful don’t think I have seen it as bad

My son and I was talking about the pitch today. We queried whether the Sunderland game in the cup was worse. Watched the highlights tonight, nope worse today.

    By quite a bit.

I thought the pitch looked better at the end of the match than it did before the game started, it dried out a bit as the afternoon went on.
It clearly isn't up to scratch, but an awful lot of water has landed on it in the last few weeks.

Its the fact that the deterioration of the pitch was inevitable as the club knew about it from before the season. The only excuse i've heard is that all monies were put aside for the team so the pitch had no budget. Someone at the club should have the balls to apologise for it, it was looking bald in patches before the first game of the season. Has been said before, if a club with a small budget like Accrington can have a professional job done ( which has coped with the appalling weather) then i expect our club to be able to. Wether its financed by our owner or by the raising of ticket prices i care not. I would gladly pay extra on a season ticket to ensure a decent playing surface.

Think it's about half that. But when we received £2.5m we put it straight into Rupp's pocket. I know it was for the losses he covered but youd think hed put it back into the club or we pay him back over so many years. £500k of that money would have sorted the pitch out properly for years.
