To find the points allocated for some games you need to click the "i" next to the season ticket in your purchase history and it lists all of the home games which a column for the points awarded.

I agree, City are just complicating the whole scheme, people are getting points for matches they missed, whilst some are not getting points for ones they were at.

Strangely, I've already got 20 points for the home match against Grimsby.

I think the points will be refreshed from a season to season basis, but the points allocation system will stay the same. I would agree with this.

Though I would feel a bit for those who have gone to the a*se end of the country watching League 2 cr@p every week only to be then on a par with someone who starts following us away in League One from next season.

In terms of fairness it's definitely the right thing to do to start afresh each season, otherwise you'll get to a point in 4 seasons time where the away games you did in 22/23 count towards securing a ticket in the 26/27 season, which would be stupid.

Fair or not, the Club have already made it clear that points will not be 'refreshed' each season. All points to date will be retained.

It's also on the FAQs on the website. It also mentions that points are "dependent on continuous membership. Should your season ticket lapse at any stage*, you will lose any points you may previously have accrued." which I didn't realise.
Is there anyone on here who's not a season ticket holder but been to games this season? If so do you have points on your account?

It says that points would not be reset to zero, but neither does it say that points will continuously accumulate forever as that would be grossly unfair to younger supporters growing into the club, so it will be interesting to see how the club tackles this.

The away priority scheme was done on a season to season basis so it will be interesting to see how points are 'carried over' per say.

That's what the big Premier League teams have done for years. Away tickets for the likes of Man U or Liverpool fans are in the hands of an elite few. Not saying there isn't a better way but it's the same way as those clubs.

Shame that daft survey saying loyalty points would be awarded for shop sales and other such rubbish wasn't prior to this meeting.

I hope it is put across that the scheme for tickets priority was there to ensure those who did the hard Miles could get a better chance of tickets when a plumb tie comes up, not someone who has a pie every home game.

I disagree Edin. The current scheme rewards fans who spend money with other clubs. And as they keep doing so the monopoly on away tickets stays with the Ubers.
I filled out the survey to say that loyalty points should be awarded based on the revenue I generate that benefits the club directly.
For instance: if I buy a shirt at circa £60 I get nothing. But I buy a ticket to an away game at say £25 (of which the club get a fraction) I get 10 points. How is that fair?
The same goes for iFollow. The club recently said in the press that we generate the largest revenue from this in League 2. And the club is always reminding me via email that 100% of the money goes to the club. But I receive no recognition in terms of points.

The points earned over a whole season should carry over to the next but the points from 2 seasons ago should probably drop off.
This is the only way that new away fans can ever catch up and also ensures that the priority scheme stays current.

nobody can argue that it hasn’t worked perfectly for the Carlisle away game.

No it doesn’t. We all still have points from season 21/22 currently.
My thought was those should now drop off and only the points earned this season 22/23 should carry over to next season

the problem with having 2 years of points retained is that somebody could have gone to all 23 away league games this season and still not got a Carlisle ticket if they hadn’t been to any away games last season.

Yes, that's how it works. Last seasons point still apply to this season, but they won't carry over to next season. This seasons points will carry over to next season and then they will expire.

Ok I didn’t know that. So we all expect our points totals to drop then before the start of next season ?
