Well the T & A headline seems to be implying Cook might be leaving.

Cook might be able to accept Angel staying but he knows now with the new signing on a 3 year contract that his game time will be limited.

Look, for all our signings players will be leaving the club before the transfer deadline.

Wouldn’t shock me if Cook leaves.

Seems like Hughes comments is aimed at the likes of Cook and maybe some other 1st starters of last season. Songo and Gilliead maybe also.

Fully agree. Wouldn't be shocked if Cook asks to leave but i cant see City actively shopping him, probably see a few open to interpretation comments like Hughes ones this morning in the paper for a few of the squad. Others like Threlkeld and Kelleher are a different story, we'll actively move them on with apparently Tranmere after Kelleher? Probably one of FCD and Staunton will be loaned out, probably Scales and Wood too.

Unless someone excels massively, I can see our 4 main strikers rotated every game and perhaps all 4 featuring in most games. Certainly Cook, Oliver and Harratt aren't here to be bench warmers. I think Angol is probably just grateful to have a contract (based on his injuries)

I think City will be actively shopping him around, they wouldn't have brought Oliver in otherwise. Plus, with a year left they could potentially get rid of a large wage and bring in a small fee at the same time.

Personally id like Cook to stay. for the following reason
    1) He was our top scorer last year
    2) He knows the division well
    3) He is back in shape an looks ready to prove a point

but the main one is this
    4) If Angol gets injured for 3 months as an example, an Harriat gets called back by Hudds in January, who are we left with? only Oliver an Young. That isn’t really something I think Hughes would be comfortable with

2 big lads up front. A winger who can cross and 2 attacking full backs. To supply them and. We will win the league

Very old school that style. When was the last time a team won the league playing like that?

The modern way is to play cautious with teams matching each other up making it boring. Perhaps a new style may shake teams up and get results plus been better to watch. Think 1985 with Hawley and Campbell up top and Hendrie on the wing

    They didn’t play like a 4-4-2 though.

He added: “They play in a way that is expansive and they take huge risks. With that they do leave themselves open for the opposition to get at them” Adams on Forest Green.

Also I remember that muppet saying that they won’t last at the top because teams like that will get found out.

    FGR played wing backs.
Cadden get 11 goals from left wing back?
    Just signed for Barnsley.

I'm sure we'll add one or two in January.
Shouldn't be an issue attracting players if we are flying.

Cook needs to stay. Our top goal scorer with 12 last season, we definitely need to be holding onto our better players. We need quality and as much of it as possible.

If we want to offload anyone then only two names come to mind and that’s Threlkeld and Kelleher.

I can see them coming straight back down and being in a bad position having lost some key players and their manager
