I've never thought he looks happy to be here tbh. Might just be his disposition but if he genuinely is unhappy, I hope some kind of deal can be sorted for him, given his previous mh issues it won't do him any good staying if he doesn't want to.

Surely Elliot would have been at pre season if he was signing on again.

Odusina still hasnt signed elsewhere. Starting to think we could be trying to negotiate a fee.

That list of players has 3/4 signed. He was liking City chants about him on Insta.

Think he is still possible.

 

Surely they would have made more of it , if he was still around. Watt and Smallwood , could be a great midfield at this level.

 

Not sure why, as they have 7 days before his contract is up?

 

If he is not going to be here in 7 days, i am not sure i would want him at pre season. Let him build his fitness elsewhere.
If he has signed a new contract then tell us.

 

Could go down to the end of the window, haggling over a fee.

We have Watt, if someone wants him we need compensation.

We may want Odusina, which would require compensation.

May be neither deal has been concluded because we're trying to make sure what we get is greater than or at least equal to what we give.

 

Im guessing both bids are pittiful and like us with Wolves, 30% probably going to Norwich City.

 

Hughes comments about still expecting a few ins and outs is interesting. What else do we realistically think we'll bring in?

I think we'll be in the market for a RB. I could possibly see us signing another CB and Forward, but will likely depend on exits. I think Perreira will come in on loan, or if not him, another wide forward.

Who are the players we have who remained under contract at the end of last season? I think its:

Hornby
Threlkeld
Ridehalgh
Kelleher
Staunton
FCD
Songo'o
Gillead
Scales
Cook

Gillead and Songo'o seem the least likely exits but you could make a case for any one of them leaving. Hornby and Threlkeld will surely be off? And loans for Staunton, FCD and Scales. I think Kelleher will move back to a NL side. A move for Cook wouldn't be a surprise either.

 

Exactly what I’m thinking.

 

I definitely think a RB, CB and someone upfront will be coming in. I think Watt re signs with us also.

As for outgoings, Hornby and Threlkeld I can see going 100%, Kelleher I’m not so sure, the younger players for sure will go out on loan.
