I saw a rumour Jack Diamond to Carlisle top signing for them if it’s true

 

No idea. A few of their fans linking them with Leigh Griffiths. Surely not.

 

Yeh heard that one too. Cant see it though, surely he is ready to test himself in L1 now.

 

Who knows, it could be a similar thing to some of the early rumours for us where every player with even the hint of a connection to Hughes was linked to us. I do think Hartley will recruit quite a few players from Scotland though so there might be something in it.

 

We should be going all out to sign Jack Diamond not Carlisle.

 

I will be amazed if Jack Diamond ends up in league 2 again, especially at Carlisle.
The lad needs to move up a league and test himself.

 

He's a quality player, but we're well stocked with options in wide forward areas.

 

I don’t think anywhere near as good as Diamond.

 

He plays in a similar position to Harry Chapman, doesn't he?

 

Cant argue with that but how does a player develop for Sunderland if he continues to play in L2. Unless they decide to flog him.

 

One on left, one on right. Can interchange. Id find room for both in my starting 11. A nice thought with Walker sandwiched between them both eh? On the footy pitch that is.

 

If only city would push the boat out for that?

 

That would be as good as you'd find at this level, for sure.

 

Cant imagine Walker and possibly Smallwood have come cheap. Gotta be realistic. Maybe next summer for our L1 campaign if he is available!!! :-0

 

On me lunch and got sent a link to Hartlepool chatter. No mention of Odusina. Having a quick nosey I read this post that made me giggle, the OP had started a post about the lack of players.

It maybe true, but what are his employer’s doing if so? Surely a step up is required for his football education as opposed to one far worse than his previous loan?

Very good signing if true, however they were linked with Harry Chapman a couple of weeks back. Wouldn’t complain of it ended the same way

 

He's another that wont be on pennys. Bet Blackburn in the championship were paying him decent.

 

Mark Beevers just released by Posh. What a signing he would be.

 

He’d be worth every penny ten times over.
