I'm thinking similar, and if you factor in injuries and suspensions making on average one of them unavailable at any one time then your looking at 4 players for three positions. Just about right for squad rotation purposes I'd have thought.

 

Don't think there'll be a signing today. Makes sense that if we had one ready to be announced then we would have done so earlier on today to spur more sales before the early bird deadline...

They was at Blackburn together but there’s a big age gap! I woulda thought chapman woulda been in the youth set up when he was in the first team

 

Chapman wasn’t in the youth at Blackburn they were in the first team squad together plus both come from the north east so probably traveled together

 

Well nobody really knows if they travelled together but yeah that could of happened, chapman looks like he’s been told what to say in the video to me, he’s got a smirk on his face

You've just said 'exactly' when someone suggested he was being told what to say. In what universe would it be good PR from the club to tell him to name a player we have been linked with for weeks as his best friend in football if there isn't something in it?

 

I was referring to the comment about his “cheeky grin” But many people have been going on about how big signings will sell season tickets why would they leave the biggest till after the deadline

 

Because they have to leave something for Admin to tweet about next week when they can't tweet about the early bird deadline anymore.

Theres enough out there to suggest he has signed. And anyone with a brain knows its more likely he does sign than he doesnt now.


Any road, theyve announced 9 before the deadline. Hopefully scoop a few more up paying £300 a pop now.
