Can’t announce anything until after 30th can we??

 

We've already announced a load of players whose contracts don't expire until the 30th, and POC and Vernam have been announced by Lincoln but are still 'offically' Bradford players.

 

The act of signing someone - anyone - creates positivity in most cases

 

I never bought into the idea of holding back positive news until near ST deadline I just don't get what it would achieve besides giving anyone still undecided less time to get on board or even less time to raise funds even. Anyhow that thought process if it was ever even true has passed now as even any signings announced tomorrow final day isn't going to suddenly make anyone not buying suddenly buy.

 

Its about the 3rd time youve asked this.

 

Listened to the weekend waffle last night. A twitter space with the city vent boys and incoming guests wanting to have a say. Both hosts fairly convinced Smallwood and Odusina will be announced in due course.

A good 2 hour listen, worth checking out.

Yes that was very funny!!!! Enjoyed his immature name calling row with Chris! Was expecting him to get cut off but Adam invited him back!!! Brilliant stuff.

Any chance a link or something could be posted Sergio. I’m not on Twitter and no intention to go back on again, but two hours toiling in the garden later could be enjoyable with pods in?

I saw that Odusina 'liked' then quickly unliked the song someone had come up with for him (to the tune of Lola by the Kinks). Not sure what to read into that. Either he suddenly thought he'd better not like it before an announcement is made, or he thought he'd better not like it because he isn't actually signing for us. Or maybe he just realised it's actually a bit crap.

I think all these signings are asked respectfully to not give anything away by liking or following things on social until a deal announced.

No harm in him liking it even if he wasnt signing. Just showing his appreciation for a bit of fun using his name. Id say unliking it a 'teller'. Realised his mistake.

 

I think that's why @Keefly Bantam asked.

 

I've heard from a couple of sources that Odusina and Smallwood are done. Although, I was also led to believe that announcements were due on Friday. Whether they pushed that back having got the Chapman deal done, who knows. But they're done, is what I'm told.

 

May still have to film and edit all the fanfare that goes with the announcement. Every signing comes with a social media package now.
