    It may depend on if he sees Songo'o playing CDM as to which position he brings the quality in to. The other may well even be a loan, just to beef up the options.

    I don’t think Songo’o is good enough. Or put it this way, if Songo’o is used as a replacement for Watt, we’re poorer in that area than last season.

    Realistically there is no player who is going to sign for a league 2 club who has a big enough name to convince someone to buy a season ticket at this stage.

    Smallwood would be a very good signing but 90% of our fanbase will have never heard of him!

    The approach this year has been to string out the signings. Look at how many signed before the pitch was dug up and then while it was being prepared. I reckon we'll see one on Monday.

    Despite rumours of L1 interest I have a feeling we will somehow get Smallwood, possibly swayed by buying into MH coupled with us offering him a longer deal than L1 clubs have, well here's hoping anyhow. If we can pull it off against the odds he could be a great Gary Jones type figure for us.
