    Let’s see Rog . It’s smoke and mirrors until anything is announced . I have to say I trust MH/ GH as they probably see lots of attributes in players , us mere fans can’t see?

    Would Gent have ever monitored him at Boro and have analytics on him or were the timescales out?

    he was bought by Barnsley wasn’t he but spent most time out on loan. They are in Champ though, so no shame in that.

    other day we were linked with a Walsall midfielder. If we sign either from them id rather it were Miller. Far more mobile than Cook and will press.

    George Weah could do a better job than George Miller. He didn’t impress me at all last season. Puts a shift in, but the only time I got off my chair, was when he missed that open goal.

    If we are to go up this season, it’s by improving on our faults last season. And the number one thing we did wrong, was not scoring enough. George Miller is not going to fire us to promotion.

    That's all well and good....but as others have said we can't judge him as a skinny 19 year old 4 years ago...he's just outscored all of our strikers last season - including Jake Young. 4 years is a long time - boy to man.

    But do you honestly believe that George Miller will be signed to lead our line though? I see it as one to give us options and plump up the striker options. He may well be 4th choice. I see that as an upgrade on Lavery, Elliott, Robinson and Delfuneso. And if we are down to the bare bones with injuries, suspensions, rotation etc then a striker who scored 12 goals last season doesn't seem a bad option as a 4th choice. That said, If they were to follow this signing up with a Dom Telford or someone of that ilk then it looks a far better signing....

    It's interesting you mention Telford because prior to last season, Miller actually has a better overall scoring record than he does, and is 2 years younger.
