Tbf I got that feeling when Adams was in charge as well…

 

I'm pretty sure MH will always have the final say on transfers and that's how it should be, I'd guess at the HoR role is to source targets through his contacts and experience that fits the profile MH as assigned or to forward any of his available recommendations he may have. HoR may possibly even help out with contract negotiations so MH can concentrate on first team affairs. Well that's my guess anyhow.

 

Isn't it refreshing that we have no actual names being thrown out here, because no-one actually knows anything !

Hopefully the young lad to Brighton transfer money (was any of it upfront?) can be used towards a marquee striker signing. We're getting there

A L2 Striker who had a great season last term.

 

Yeah that's the same Miller. Might have improved but what I saw was a player with technical deficiencies that are hard to get rid of

I don't follow players once they have left us, Miller was only young ,very lightweight and extremely raw.
He got into double figures for Walsall last season, which is as many as our leading scorer.
I wont knock a player before he has kicked a ball and if he has bulked up and improved and Gent and Hughes ,see something they can work on and improve again, then so be it.
