You can not get anymore honest than taking season tickets off sale in the present climate.
Season tickets are a huge financial part of any sports team and City have in my opinion been transparent in the fact they have ceased sales of a product that at this moment in time quite frankly doesn't exist at the risk of committing financial suicide and almost certain administration.

The EFL have shown themselves up throughout this pandemic, for me it highlights the need for the FA to get some power and control back over the domestic game but it’ll never happen.

That said it’s the same for every club, it feels like we’re acting hard done by in the press when we’re not a unique case. Stop going over the same things every day, I’d prefer them to just say we’ve made plans on recruitment but are unable to action them until we have a definite start date so we can bring everyone off furlough. That’s if we have actually done any pre planning of course!

One thing crackpot Edin did have was a vision although he had no idea whatsoever how to carry it out. And as lower league football is going to have to change because of circumstance I'm waiting to hear what our 'blueprint' for the future is. I'm not expecting BFG grandiose or Rahic levels of stupidity, but what is that long term plan. What will Bradford City and lower league football look like in 5/10/15 years time? Where will we be playing, what division, price of tickets, self sustainable or running at a loss? What's Rupps role in all this, what's his time scale in all this? Rhodes clearly doesn't want to be here long term, how's the recruitment for a new CEO going? Are the club ever gonna crack the local area support? Will we see more local businesses getting on board because of this?

This club has tread water for far too long culminating in our last January transfer window. Show us what you hope the future holds, because 10 miles down the road they could be 3 divisions and light years between us come the end of the season. Give us something to get excited about, without that you won't be treading water, you'll be sinking

Seriously, if Bradford City went under and Bradford AFC started up in the non league I wouldn't be too fussed.

The reset button on the club could be good for everyone.

Think we showed our card when talking about promoting 4 youth players straight away without even telling fans who they're and what positions they play in.

It wouldn't shock me if we did resign a few of the OOC because we are lazy.

Nonsense! Two possible start dates have been mentioned and the EFL has stated it needs to start at least in September for commercial contract issues.

So, clubs know whats what hence some clubs now cracking on and signing players.

We've talked about the salary cap situation but you decide not to let it sink in so I will repeat. The clubs that currently signing players are not breaking any rules and the EFL can't then say you signed these players before the salary cap so your maximum spend/wage bill is x.

It's clear the club are using the EFL mess as an excuse not to get people off Furlough and crack on being a football club. Bet if I went down to VP that the toilets still have no hot water. No excuses not to be signing or lining up players to sign now...None.

There is no positive to dropping out of the league, just stupid talk. No one ever benefits from dropping a division. Look at the bulls, dropped out of super league and will probably never get back.

I am not sure how anyone could think city going bust and starting again 7 or 8 leagues lower , could be a good thing.
We have been in admin before , i have seen them all , putting my hand in my pocket on each occasion to help try to keep the club going , irrespective of who the owners are. There is more to following a football club than just turning up to see your team win. Its about the whole experience, the atmosphere, people you meet, the rollercaster of emotions shared with your fellow fans. Very few of the clubs in this country are sucessfull, its taken Liverpool 30 years to win the title, Leeds undoubtedly one of the larger clubs in the championship , have taken ages to look like they might get promoted. Finding that right balance to achieve sustainable progress is hard, as every other club is looking for the same thing and the efl proposed salary cap , will make some clubs unable to use there available spending power to find that extra edge. I am also certain that some clubs will find a way to navigate the salary cap and still live way beyond there means.

We had progress under Parky but there is no guarantee that we would have progressed any further without the takeover. In fact the first season of the takeover was our best season culminating in the Wembley final. The corellation between spending and success is proven, otherwise nobody would spend anything. Its how you spend that extra revenue.

No thanks mate. Feel free to do what some United fans did and make a Phoenix club, but you’ll find not many want to go watch a Bradford team play northern village teams.

The club needs an owner with the hunger to take us forward, and people below them with the skills and drive to pull it off.

If we are to go up the leagues we need competency at the top, not drop down 6 divisions.

If you want success you have to show ambition and demonstrate it to attract the right talent and re-energise the fan base. Good luck Stuart..may the Force be with you.

Harsh RT. Not an external appointment but shouldn't we be promoting people from within when they do a good job? I think he's done a great job so far, the work he's done with the kits should be commended and the sales are obviously backing that trend up. For such a young lad to get this position he's clearly a good option and not given it because he does what he's told... Very critical and harsh.

What are you talking about Fordy? He's just delivered a marketing campaign that's seen record breaking sales of kits. Where's your ambition in wanting to retain successful members of staff?

World of difference between running a good marketing campaign and negotiating sponsorship deals, the catering supply and so on and communications. Not saying Sparks can’t do that, our marketing manager does a great job, wouldn’t let them near a multi year sales contract.

Cheer up mate. Won't be long before you are watching DMH flying down the wing and crossing for Novak to hammer a bullet header in to the top corner. That would conclude the pre match warm up. :innocent:

    So this is your criticism?

And if we'd sold none you'd be criticising too?!!

Can you not be positive about 'owt instead of being a miserable bugger?

If I was Sparks I’d be in Rhodes office for a chat. Been made to look a right dickhead in all this. With his quotes in that T&A and at the fans forum.
