Nothing! I don't want too but I am not going to back the club.

Cheap season tickets, high profile player on high wages...That's our plan..Not going to get us far is it!

The first thing you have to ask is where in Bradford would we play that would hold upward of crowds of 10,000 if we were doing well in non league, because we could not afford Valley Parade at £330,000/year, maybe whilst we playing non league we'll get a new ground and rather than train at a school we also get a new training facility, pie in the sky stuff.
If fans are pissed off with what's happend over the last few season why would they return to watch non league football I can't see one positive from losing our league status Avenue have certainly proved that starting from scratch is a good way to run your club, hence my comment.

There is no positive to dropping out of the league, just stupid talk. No one ever benefits from dropping a division. Look at the bulls, dropped out of super league and will probably never get back.

Losing our Football League status would be the death knell for professional sport in Bradford, as yourself I can't see any positives in making a decision to go non league and building again, the mans a wum.

I am not sure how anyone could think city going bust and starting again 7 or 8 leagues lower , could be a good thing.
We have been in admin before , i have seen them all , putting my hand in my pocket on each occasion to help try to keep the club going , irrespective of who the owners are. There is more to following a football club than just turning up to see your team win. Its about the whole experience, the atmosphere, people you meet, the rollercaster of emotions shared with your fellow fans. Very few of the clubs in this country are sucessfull, its taken Liverpool 30 years to win the title, Leeds undoubtedly one of the larger clubs in the championship , have taken ages to look like they might get promoted. Finding that right balance to achieve sustainable progress is hard, as every other club is looking for the same thing and the efl proposed salary cap , will make some clubs unable to use there available spending power to find that extra edge. I am also certain that some clubs will find a way to navigate the salary cap and still live way beyond there means.

There's no such thing as sustainable progress, without depp pocketed backers you end up back at the bottom. Bournemouth would be playing us if it wasn't for their billionaire owner, Salford would still be playing the dog and duck and Man City would be yo yoing between the championship and the prem. All the salry cap will do is make the gap between the top two and bottom two divisions even bigger. I can see the top two divisions almost becoming a closed shop with the lower leagues becoming regional or something similar.

Indeed. Once the First div became the Premiership plus all that money the game changed.

Players on £300K a week is obscene and outside of the PL, as you say, I would include most of the championship, there is no money in the game.

Sorting players wages to an acceptable level is the biggest challenge most clubs now face.

Get that right and we could have a sustainable business model.

I'm fully aware of what we own,but I live in the present not the past and the reason we are at a standstill is Covid 19 just like everyone else in the lower league's.
Don't quote Bolton or Mansfield to me because I don't and quite frankly couldn't give a flying what they are doing it's of no interest to me financially how they chose to run their business but I can assure you we will be standing long after they go under.

You do understand that the PL are off doing their own thing.
The Championship are looking to PL 2
League 1 & 2 clubs are getting left behind in the EFL model
Some Non league clubs are over taking us.
Div 2 is more or least becoming the PL Conference league.

Don't be shocked if div 2 comes under the FA banner soon.
TV companies are not interest in div 2 in the main.

Not being a WUM..Tell me which on the above is wrong. The Non league clubs are overtaking us are they build off the pitch as well as on. True hurts I know but face it before it hits you in the face too late like it did with Bowyer when many knew in September/October the man was a fraud here.

Football doesn't work to sustainability at any level. You would have to change the whole game of football finances. Its a nice idea but ultimately unworkable.

    Always an excuse!

Whats next? Look Covid will hammer all clubs in their spend...get that. Doesn't make a difference if its Man Utd, Liverpool or Donny.

However, we now using the Salary Cap as an excuse..Full is just full of excuses not to do things.

You make me laugh at times Fordy. This is your biggest wind-up ever though. Avenue close to overtaking us, how do you work that out, did you follow their season just finished?. You do realise they attract a following not much bigger than your car capacity for starters mate.

Sorry, Going bust and starting a Phoenix club is an absolute nonsense, and you know it

i am sure under parky we managed to progress ,without throwing cash at it and may well have gone the next step, without the takeover. Money is not always the answer, we have spent in the past and finished up with nothing, the last two seasons being good examples. The right players players with the right attitude and good management , can take you a long way.
Like i said , most clubs are looking for that formula, very few find it.

Why are you even bothered? You dont care less about the club as you have said on here many times. Shouldn't you be getting a liverpool tattoo on your leg or arm?

My opinion stays the same, and whilst were going over old ground have you found the receipt for our bet if not just have the balls to say you've not paid it.
