And most of the messaging around Rupp's financial appetite was pre-covid. personally, I think he'll use Covid as an opportunity to justify why he can't put more money in blindly. Nonsense! Two possible start dates have been mentioned and the EFL has stated it needs to start at least in September for commercial contract issues.

So, clubs know whats what hence some clubs now cracking on and signing players.

We've talked about the salary cap situation but you decide not to let it sink in so I will repeat. The clubs that currently signing players are not breaking any rules and the EFL can't then say you signed these players before the salary cap so your maximum spend/wage bill is x.

It's clear the club are using the EFL mess as an excuse not to get people off Furlough and crack on being a football club. Bet if I went down to VP that the toilets still have no hot water. No excuses not to be signing or lining up players to sign now...None.

I may be wrong but since March there has been a total of 9 signings involving league 2 clubs with Mansfield having the majority of those and all 9 were free transfers.

Your gung ho approach would cost the club dearly.

Reading the article they have targets lined up and plans in place to re start, they just want the date confirmed so they can get on and as you say "crack on".

 

You really are a WUM, how being in non league football could be a GOOD thing for the City of Bradford, Bradford City Football Club and their fans is beyond belief.

How would setting up a new club and playing in the same league as the likes of Farsley and playing at somewhere like Horsfall playing fields be an improvement though, I'm struggling to get my head around that one

 

We can rebuild..I know some you hate change but some of you have been part of the clubs downfall. Lazy fans with low exceptions. Rhodes laughs in your face everyday.

Some are starting to open your eyes now and others know that the direction of club has been wrong for years.

Excuses, excuses, excuses! Start again...Build something special. I bet Bury AFC over take us in 5 years if we continue to be run like we are doing.

If the club was to slip into Administration then there wouldn't be anyone at the top.
The fact we have so far kept the wolf from the door has surely got to be testament to those who hold the purse strings without them the very existence
of Bradford City would have gone long ago.
I for one wouldn't want to lose our League status.

There isn’t enough interest in football in Bradford to start again and just fly up the leagues.

 

It would get them out of Manningham which would be a great start.

 

What is the real world?

You sit there and don't drive the club forward. Happy with the excuses the club makes for failure!

 

Interest is about levels.. If Bradford went under we won't then support Leeds or Huddersfield would we. Yes we won't get the 8k true fan base but we might get 3-5k and then it's about building..build and building..

Bradford City Football is a failure!! It might hurt some of you but it is. As a business it does nothing but tick.

Under Rhodes the club is going nowhere fast hey hopeful next season things will change without fans.

 

Covid 19 is not an excuse it's a reality for everyone.
