Oh let’s hope we lose in the semi final then so he can’t get any credit. Come on your a fan like the rest of us,it would be great to get to Wembley and win something however minor. I’ve been going over 56 years and seen us win the 3rd division title in 85, a couple of play off wins and a few West riding cup wins and that’s it.

I don't think think anyone has suggested that as a grown adult you aren't allowed to make your own decision whether to go or not?

 

If the choice was to win a tin pot cup or have the opportunity to reset / address the current mess - then it would be the later every day, and twice on Sunday.

 

If I hadn't been before I'd probably jump at the chance and would expect people who haven't to do so. But not that bothered to he honest, I've lost the buzz at the moment after years of utter garbage.

 

Everyone should make the effort to support the team, Bradford city.
I do not go to matches to support the owner, or the current person running the club.
The football club was here long before any of us and hopefully will be around for a long time to come.
Yes times are poor football wise, just like the majority of my days watching my home town club.
You just have to hope it will improve. Did Parky not have a run of 1 win in 20 odd games, eventually beating Port vale at home i believe.
Not sure if the fans can force Rupp out, he will go when his asking price is met, i am not even certain we could force him to replace Sparks, who is doing the job asked of him, which is to run the club without owner financial imput.
These hard times hopefully will make any future success taste even sweeter. The rise in the 80's and the climb to the premiership, were fantastic and will long live in my memory.
Man city wining the league cup for the 5th time, is just blah to them. Us reaching the final in 2013 was real joy.

 

A win at Wembley with the Dynamic Duo celebrating and taking the plaudits would convince Rupp all is good and maybe 10 million (allegedly) isnt enough!!!!
In truth it would ensure us another couple of seasons being sustainable in the bottom half of L2

What utter nonsense,it would be a great day out for the fans and wouldn’t change anything one way or the other. You carry on and cheer on our opponents in the semi final though if it make you happy.

 

Serious question, why "should" we make the effort? Open question too if anyone wants to chip in?

Well I am going to be harsh at 32 he should be mature. I was unimpressed with the interview. At no time did he actual promote the club. It felt very much like a personal interview and not a very good one at that. Most CEO only do interviews if they are allowed to promote their projects. I wanted to give him a slap and tell him to smarten up in dress and thought processes. Stop talking about your feelings and thought processes. A few nasty emails, texts etc does not excuse him of going into total recluse mode. It’s his job to promote this club in every arena nit sit there whinging about nasty fans telling him what they think. The vast majority of our long suffering fans are good ppl who only want the best for our club. He should take a leaf out of GA book, the fans (customers) are always right.

I do not condone the nasty emails, but he might want to consider by talking about them he is giving the attn seekers more ammunition.

 

It won’t make any difference to the owners whether we win at Wembley or not. Just enjoy the day out if we make it there which is probably unlikely as we are the rank outsiders left in the competition.

 

As a club we like being the under dog, so you never know. However, you are right it won’t make any difference win lose or draw.

 

It’s a free choice and nobody forces you to go,but I’ve been going since the 60s and a poor season isn’t going to stop me now. I’ve lived through the Bob Martin ,John Garside years with some awful seasons with at times less than 2000 there so I shall be there Saturday and probably grumpy as hell if we lose.

 

Change the question round why would I not go for. Followed the club in much worse times than these. I won’t be there to support Rupp or Sparks I will be there because that’s what being a supporter is. I will be there again no matter who any new owner or CEO is because it matters not

Btw if they got to Wembley i simply wouldnt go tbe competitions a joke and if folk start bigging it up then why was they not at the games before we got to this stage.

It was crap anyhow and any credibility went out of the window with the introduction of U21 teams

 

The guy wears a round neck t-shirt under his smart shirt, with no tie and has it all on show to the world during the unveiling of GA to the media.
For that alone he should go ASAP
