Death by boycott or death by non league, take your pick.

These options are brought to you by Mr Rupp and Mr Sparks, and neither of them represents a moral alternative.

We can stop pretending boycotts are worse than just bumbling along, sinking ever closer to the trapdoor, because that is negligent too.

You do over dramatise don’t you. I agree it’s been a desperately poor season so far but we have had many such seasons and come back from them. I understand that many people are pissed of with it but boycotts and demonstrations are not the way to change things dialogue is. Let’s support the team to change the fortunes and finish the season strongly giving us the best possible chance next season no matter who runs the show

I’m not telling any one to anything what I am saying boycotts are anti productive and will only reduce our chances whether we have a change of leadership or not

How is 'lets support the team' going to drive change?

Ignore that we bagged Hughes for a second, a manager experienced enough to run the show in lieu of an authority figure with any clue at all...

... We've just made a joke managerial appointment on the back of a spell at MK Dons that saw a side capable of automatic promotion sitting in the bottom half of the table.

Now apply that level of underperformance to us. Where do we end up next season with a manager this poor, the worst CEO in the country, and an owner who doesn't know or care what's going on.

If people like you sleep walk this club to non league, I personally will not forgive that and will ask that you do not support a phoenix club.

If I am Mr Bitter, then I certainly aren't on my own old pal

oh and if sparks and his mates are still associated with the club and try pulling a stunt like that again, I would hope the City fans who got conned last year will have seen the light. Remind me, how many excursions have Kadima ran since their maiden trip using us as their business guinea pig? NONE thats how many

But you just keep clapping there's a good lad

Park, I'm not a fan of boycotts and I agree dialogue first. We need that dialogue now which I why I'm supporting the ISH in requesting a meeting with SR.

We have recovered from poor seasons before. However, both our relegations in 06/07 and 18/19 followed on from hugely underwhelming seasons the year before. We are very poor at the moment and I can't see how that changes in the immediate future.

I agree. I am all for ppl being comfortable but when you are in the role of CEO and facing the public you need to appear professional and in charge. Trackie bottoms is for the lounge at home.

He needs to go and get himself 2/3 suites made by a tailor, proper shirts tailored or at least good quality. A good pair of shoes. Etc etc.,

That is being extremely optimistic if you think 'dialogue' will change a thing. I am not advocating any demonstrations etc and a toxic atmosphere can be a desperate situation, but to talk about 'dialogue', the club clearly aren't interested save for the occasional soundbites from the organ grinder. A 30 something year old CEO , says it all really, out of his depth in terms of the footballing side.

Look where we are in L2 form table - rock bottom. DLLDDL. A total shambles of a club.

Happy clapping that old chestnut people bring out, I’m the direct opposite of that. Just out of interest did you hope we wouldn’t progress in this cup when we had 5 years of failure under Lawn and Rhodes and were you wanting to protest when we were on the brink of National league twice under the same Lawn and Rhodes in 2011 and 2012

How can you have dialogue with the club when of the two people that need speaking to, one is absent in Germany and couldn't give a flying feck, and the other is a jumped up twitter admin trying to cling on to his cushy job? That and the supposed supporters board are nothing but yes men without an inch of backbone. Boycotts and protests are the only way because asking nicely won't change jack shit

This club has never been non league.
In my 35 years of supporting City we've never been so low.
Not progressed in the last 5 years in any of the major cups until this season and again until this season haven't passed the last 32 stage in the EFL trophy.
One successful campaign last season in the last 5 and decisions made that will cripple us financially for a few seasons to come in long term contracts and firing of managers that Sparks appointed.
I filled out the request for a fans forum meeting with Stefan Rupp.
On the message to Stefan it dawned on me where we are and what it's doing to everything and everyone that's concerned with the club.
    My son is 11.
Been going to City since he was 3.
Got hooked after the Lg1 play off campaign.
Ever since then he's seen relegations, lack of cup runs and a disappointing end to last season.
He's of an opinion now that we might get more excitement watching the team he plays for, Farsley Celtic or our local team, Guiseley as what's been served up isn't keeping him excited and committed.
That to me is everything in my stage in life.
I will always support City, but time with my family and enjoying the last of his young years are my priority.
Nothing we are doing right now is contributing to this.
No giant killing, no local heroes playing successfully for the club, no big signings to whet the appetite.
Nothing, just drifting aimlessly towards non league.
All under the structure created and implemented by Ryan Sparks.
The sight of another young, average output striker arriving to be baby sat from our Uncle Middlesbrough has said to me this season is done.
The recruitment is poor, the football is the worst it's been for years and the atmosphere is dead.
Anyone who is tempted by this has either nothing else to do or are blinded by loyalty.
