Good point.But apart from @Park bantam I don't see any supporter buying into anything he says from now on.We need a CEO that is fit for purpose and IMHO based on facts as they stand, RS is not that person.

Raynor said a lot of “we hope” and “hopefully” when he was talking about the RS thing.

Is it fans sending questions in?
Who picks what’s asked?
Does RS see those questions beforehand?
Can he veto a question if he doesn’t like it?

I don’t know if Raynor is a fan or it’s just his job.
I get that he has a bit of passion when he’s commentating but that’s his job.
Does he truly understand the fans frustration?

IF it happens my first question would be -

“When you made your not accepting mediocrity quote in May 2021 we were 15th in lge 2.
Just short of 3 years later we are 18th in lge 2
Define mediocre?”

Make him explain some of the guff that he’s spouted over these 3 years.

 

That is why it won’t happen as a free and open debate with fans.

 

Unfortunately these things never are.

Experienced PR people don’t put themselves in any situations where their potential weaknesses can be exposed.

 

It does appear that there are thousands of fans want Sparkes out, but it’s one person needs convincing

that person is probably spoon fed from Sparkes hr doesn’t have to convince 18k he’s the right man just convince an disinterested owner.

Any fit and proper ceo would have walked by now but we know he’s not either .

I keep forgetting he's only 32, and as much as I applaud anyone of any age being able to do their job, I can't help but think that he is perhaps still pretty green despite his CV. Even comes across as a bit giddy and immature in that interview. Naive. And I think Rupp is definitely Naive about football, so between them, we get the resulting mess. Really, and this should have happened years ago, someone with knowledge and experience of both roles, should have had a friendly word in both their ears. I'd have thought Lawn or Rhodes would have done that. Perhaps this was what Jewell was offering and was turned down?
