Made my mind up ages ago that we are destined to finish midtable ........... I know everyone is looking to the transfer window but just got a bad feeling that we will be well of by then you can’t beat the worst team in the league then don’t expect a lot going forward

6 games before the window got to be looking at 10 plus points to give us a shout but we sadly at the moment don’t look like winning games based on our last 3 league performances and if we do get chances we simply cannot convert them

I've said Adams is our strongest asset at the club and he has to be able to put his stamp on this squad. Not every signing will be a success but a 40/50% ratio would be good enough.

He should have his opportunity to build. Shortism in January may provide the key to success this season but I strongly doubt it. By building in January and the summer, Adams has opportunity to create a promotion pushing side but also can be fairly judged.

 

Adams will get judged by RESULTS!! What is this rubbish!!

Shall we just pay him a years wage to sit at home while you decide if a signing is good or not. Utter nonsense!

He is paid to get results NOW and he isn't. That simple.

 

He's getting judged on a few seasons of results here and elsewhere, rather than just four months at VP.

No point sacking Adams, it will cost money the club doesn’t have and likely achieve nothing. He does need a chance to ship out the remaining rubbish, yes ‘his’ squad signings have been poor but we had a recruitment ‘guru’ and a rookie ceo no doubt dabbling on that one.

 

So do you want to spend the Crankshaw money on a new player or a new manager

 

I want Adams to be judged on results for us. He’s failing and yes if things don’t improve in a few weeks then I would sack him.

The season would be over anyway if things don’t pick up soon.

 

Most new managers at other clubs are expected to work with what they inherit.

We employed Adams because he could work wonders with average players. He's already had one window yet, some fans are saying he needs another two or three, before we judge him!

Player's talk. Who's going to come to Valley Parade in January and risk suffering continual, career shortening hamstring injuries? Never a week goes by without someone out with one and four players can't make the trip to Exeter because of the same injury. The penny has just dropped with Adams that we're doing something wrong. A few of us on here have had our own theory for weeks!

18 winless games out of the last twenty, suggests we can't hang around waiting for two or three windows. At the current rate of failure, we'll probably be heading for the same league as Avenue and sharing Horsfall with them.

We've seen with covid what happens when the powers that be delay crucial decisions. I wish I could see just one chink of light to give me hope that the current management team can turn things around.

 

So what's the answer, sack Adams and basically rip it up and start again? We get another manager in who wants to adopt a certain style of play and doesn't feel the players we have are suitable so we waste more time getting out of this league. Another couple of transfer windows gone.

The two must unambitious people agree with you. The two that have given up on the club a long time a go.

Managers are judged by the results that is the business and you work with the players you have got.

You can't go oh these players are rubbish lets forget the next 6 months. Nonsense!

We drop more points up until the start of the year this season is gone anyway.

 

I just wonder, would a new manager /coach get better out of this group of players?

We sack Adams, his compensation package is paid for how? Playing budget?

You know I'm not one to keep quiet. I can often talk some rite shite but I'm sure that Adams is the least of our problems at the moment

 

People keep manipulating the win stats and including shit cup games we weren’t full strength.

we’ve played 19 in the league and won five. If you wanna quote x wins in last x games at least go off those games.
