Should killa be playing ?

And he doesn’t think the same of Doyle, or any of the other experienced players we have?

 

If that is written into his contract then I would say any deliberate decision not to play him without good reason,would be deemed a breach of contract.

If that's the case and an issue has arisen between club and player,it's no wonder he's not playing.

However,I don't think that's the reason and how do you know details of his contract?

 

If a player fails a drugs test what is the process before it is made public? And can the player play during that time?

After watching last night the reason to me that he isn't playing, based purely on the central defenders present last night is that he isn't as good as them 2. For me it's as simple as that on the playing front.

 

So who would you drop for Killer? McGowan or O’Connor ?

 

He should be at least on the bench instead of NKP, a far better player in my opinion.

 

I'd have Killa on the bench, no question he's our 3rd best CB so it makes sense, I think most are more puzzled at why he isn't on the bench not why he isn't starting. Although by this vote that might not be the case, I voted no as I don't think our fortunes so far would be any different what so ever. Centre back in one of our lesser problems tbh, out wide teams are still getting crosses in at will.

 

McGowan

 

McGowan is still a little rusty after missing a lot of preseason and he's just recovered from surgery. McGowan will get better once he's up to match speed and will be a vital part of our team.

 

I think we have two good centre halves at the moment but I think Killa not been selected for the squad defies logic. I think this is one occasion we should be told what’s going on and remove another reason for people to have a go

 

But he can't even make the bench before Knight-Percival that has to be a little puzzling don't you think.
For what ever reason Collins isn't selecting him is baffling in many fans eyes, but if they believe Matt is 4th choice they should loan him out it's unfair to a 34 year old to not be having game time in the latter stages of his career IMO.

 

For me it's a very strange choice for him to not be on the bench as I think NKP is a very poor player. But as a 1st choice player I think he's 3rd place, imo.

 

I agree I think it will be interesting to see if Killa figures agains Everton under 21s in a couple of weeks.
If he isn’t going to play it would be better to send him on loan and use his wages for a target man

 

Although Matt made the odd mistake there is no doubt he was the better of the CD last season.
O'Connor was always going to start and with McGowan coming back from injury our "player of the year" IMO would have partnered him untill McGowan got match fit and ready for selection.
But even the opening game of the season Matt could not make the bench, yet a player who as I say had just come back from an operation and had played very little pre season games got the call first.
No matter how its viewed thats got to be a strange call, giving more creadence to the theory that Kilgallon could have a clause in his contract that the club dont want to trigger by selecting him even for the bench ?.
