Should killa be playing ?

I'd be amazed if anyone votes no. Probably still our best defender and its a disgrace he is not involved

 

I voted no cos the game has finished. No point in him playing by himself

 

In all honesty I don't think central defence is our biggest problem. I'm happy with McGowan and O'Connor but they get zero support from their Full backs and central midfield. They can't do it all

 

Barking up the wrong tree with this one. The problems are above who we pick at CB.

 

Don't disagree at all but there is no logical justification as to why he's not been involved...

 

Killa should be managing the team. When he did the "expert" radio commentary on a few games when he was injured - he was streets ahead of anyone else in seeing what was happening and what we should be doing. Clear and articulate, he has tons of experience and its shameful that he is not, at least, playing - the powers that be cannot say he cant get in the team, we are hardly winning are we.

90% think Kilgallon should start? Who are you putting him in for, O'Connor or McGowan?

 

Can’t play him he is too expensive

 

If we don’t watch out, the club could end up being done for ageism

 

I'm not sure we should be playing with 3 Centre Backs when we don't have sufficient wingbacks.

If we switched to a back 5 again or dropped one of McGowan or O'Connor you just know there'll be a meltdown. Some of our fans are as confused as Collins is.

 

We've more issue's at the other end of the pitch, unless you're thinking of paying him up front

 

The goalie and defence should be good enough, so not really a need for Killa. Unless he plays at left back, but he’s made it clear before he doesn’t like playing there (even though he does like to make assists from there).

 

The major problems are midfield and up front, you can't play 2 holding midfielders and 1 up top in this division. Either he plays 1 holding midfielder in a 4132 or 4141or he just plays 442. Collins plays that many formations the players haven't a clue what their doing. Killa and McGowan as CH and O'Connor can play the holding midfield role with Akpan pushing forward. Akpan is supposed to be a box to box midfielder so let's play him there. Doyle needs a decent partner to play off and there's no point having him here if he's stuck up top on his own.

 

No better than McGowan and O'Connor, so no. Really don't see why all the fuss with this.

 

Player of the year last season - of course he should be playing. All the more baffling because in the two defeats we've had so far Collins has given lack of composure as the reason. Kilgallon is our most composed player.
