Agree. We need the win even if it's against Stuart's side.

He won't lose his job because we claim the three points, it would be the very poor form his team have shown in recent times.

I fully understand the bond we have with Stuart is important, but I can't believe any of our fans would go into this huge match not wanting to win because Stuart himself will certainly be wanting to turn us over.

I hope he has more success but not until after Saturday and not at the cost of our own survival.

 

I make no apologies for the esteem in which I hold McCall. sadly some others can't say the same. the amount of stick he gets on here, for someone of his standing within BCAFC is outrageous.

 

Not an issue though if we're taking the drop to protect Stuart.

 

He gets the same amount of stick as any other manager has had.. which when that's the role he's employed to do is justified!

McCall the player is irrelevant when talking about him as a manager.

There is no other manager who would have people wanting to sacrifice 2 points for the good of their employment.

The stick that @Ricc talks about is a complete myth.

 

it most certainly isn't. Park and banbrotam amongst others think McCall's a right prick.

 

You think Phil Parkinson is a footballing dinosaur yet I'd argue he's achieved more than McCall has in his managerial career

 

i expect us to win this by a couple of clear goals, 2-0 or 3-1. Josh Morris went off on crutches at the weekend and also they had another striker injured in the game. They could come here with a very depleted squad, with a negative attitude. Which hopefully will play into our hands and we will put pressure on them and create mistakes.

Even if that was true they're allowed to have that opinion but I can't actually remember the last time I saw any stick directed in his direction. You become a bit of a delicate snowflake when it comes to McCall don't you?

 

I hope we beat them 6-0, Another clean sheet and help our woeful goal difference, McCall is immaterial
