There will be an unusual feel about this match because of who the opposition manager is.But despite that I hope there is the usual backing of the team because a win is vital.
We need to give Scunthorpe a hard time onand off the pitch and get the three points

If I'm honest, I don't care who their manager is. I hope we produce a result like yesterdays.

Yes,due respect as always to Stuart but once the whistle blows we need to be ruthless and get three points. If Scunnys bad run of results culminates in him being sacked after Saturday, then it will be sad but it won't be down to us alone, just us providing the final nail.

I personally don't think he will be there by Saturday and even if he is we don't have room for sentiment. If a victory for us costs him his job then tough shit

I've been expecting something to happen for a week or two. They've dropped down the league alarmingly so he will need to get a result from somewhere (Just not against us) or he will be out.

Something may be announced tomorrow as Monday morning's are when manager and players are back in, the fan starts and stuff gets thrown...

If he does get sacked the change may boost Scunnys performance so we'll need to make sure we're up for it.

Ah well. I will go totally against the grain and say I'd gladly take a single point if it meant Stuart kept his job and get to go again the following week.

Now that Rahic is out of the picture I'm quietly confident we can head towards mid-table. We're never going to reach the play-offs this season so taking three points off Stuart when he desperately needs anything he can get, just isn't required.

If he lost his job as a result of a 4-0 walloping from City I would HATE it!

Win and Plymouth don't will see us out of the relegation zone in time for Christmas, massive considering where we have been all season, it would be a huge confidence boost going into the second half of the season. I don't care who their manager is, we need this win.

There's also the 'Ex' factor ........... It wouldn't be the first time S Mc has left, and been with a visiting winning team. :(
    (Remember Sheff Utd ? )

Massive match and one we need to win.

Put the pressure on Scunny and hopefully get out of the bottom 4.

We played extremely well yesterday and we have to follow it up with a win.

We love Stuart but we love Bradford City more.

I expect SM to be in charge for the game and for his chairman to see if SM can rally his troops for what is effectively a derby game.

If they get beaten soundly by us then I can see him gone after the game.

No room for much sentiment I am afraid as we need every point we can get right now.

I don’t think he’ll last the season. It’s a shame and I want him to do well, but City are more important and we need to win on Saturday and keep the momentum going.

It does raise a difficult question though...... would you, at this moment in time, swap Stuart for Hopkin?

I loved Stuart, but I don’t think I would. I think we’re making progress under DH, finally.

To be fair, Scunthorpe made the same mistakes we did with having an inexperienced manager at the start of the season and some questionable recruitment.

We were always sticking with Hopkin, and results were abysmal for a long time.

    What's the difference?

I'm not sure sacking Stuart before January makes any sense.

I wouldn't swop Hopkin for Stuart as swopping something you have not got isn't possible unless the other side wanted to swop and then it would be an exchange.Sorry for being pedantic.

Very magnanimous of you but what if we stumbled our way to end of season and got relegated by one point?

Thankfully Scunny are not in same league as Sheffield Utd in more ways than one.But Stuart loves us,he wouldn't jeopardise his chances of coming back, would he?
