No room for sentiment on Saturday from me, especially not in our present predicament. We need to climb out of the bottom four regardless of who the manager or opposition are.
Do you think Scunthorpe and their manager care about us in a loving way so much so they will roll over and let us take three points,doubt it very much

 

just back from looking up pyrrhic in the dictionary. I hope we stuff them 5-0. Stuart will always earn a living.

 

Surely we'll get five? Bit bored of all these threes and fours now....

 

What a load of rubbish.. we support Bradford City AFC not Stuart McCall AFC... How can you want anything other than a win considering our position

 

1) will applaud Stuart when he walks out
2) I will refrain from shouting city reject at Rory and before the match may even join in a chorus of OOOh Rory McArdle whilst he warms up.
3) I promise, out of respect for a true city legend, not to chant Your getting sacked in the morning at Stuart.
Apart from that, gloves are off, I hope we stuff them by 4 or 5, Stuart knows the score, he’s hardly going to be destitute, and won’t hold it against us.

 

I'm sure Parky and Fordy will be relieved to hear that

 

I hope we thrash them 5-0.

I expect McCall to set up his team to play for a draw. When McCall was our manager he seemed to take on a somewhat conservative approach when he thought we were up against it, in big games he seemed to worry more about what the opposition could do to us rather than focus on what we could to do them.

 

So, we are 1-0 up in the closing stages of the match against Scunny. All the City fans are biting their fingernails as they realise if we hang on, we will be out of the bottom 4.
But somewhere in the City end, Yorkieman is praying for an equaliser for Scunny as he cannot stomach us beating Stuart's team for misguided sentimental reasons that may see Stuart cling onto his job, whilst Scunny remain 3 points clear of us.

My vision was. It's the final minute, 1-0 to City. Scunny get a corner and as the ball reaches the far post a fan runs from the crowd heads the ball into the back of the net and turns away his claret and amber scarf flapping in the wind.

 

I'll be listening to the commentary and hope to hear loud chants of " Stuart, Stuart what's the score?"

 

Are you a city fan, or a mccall fan?

 

And why don't we just get our team to lay down, and let them score as many as they want? Surely if Mccall won 10 0 people would be saying wow what a manager!

One of my proudest ever moments watching City was watching Stuart lead us out at Wembley before the play off final. I’ve hero worshipped the bloke since I was first introduced to City as a youngster in the 84/85 season and he will always have legendary status in my eyes.....but I hope we win 5-0 on Saturday

 

If the game at Scunthorpe at the end of the season is a relegation decider I hope we lie down for Stuart, if he's not been sacked by then, I couldn't bear the thought of relegating him while we'd be celebrating.

That would be so unprofessional. All the teams in the league are entitled to expect that every team will do their best to win. Stuart is a professional, he knows the score and wouldn't expect otherwise.

 

Listen Stuart scored and helped Sheff Utd smash us 5-0, he's a professional and knows the score. He will come here to beat us and we need to beat him. I don't even understand the mentality of anyone even suggesting otherwise

 

I was a guest of the company who sponsored MOM for that game, impossible task but we gave it to a young Lewis Emanuel for effort.
He turned out well.
