If I'm honest, I don't care who their manager is. I hope we produce a result like yesterdays.

Win and Plymouth don't will see us out of the relegation zone in time for Christmas, massive considering where we have been all season, it would be a huge confidence boost going into the second half of the season. I don't care who their manager is, we need this win.

Massive match and one we need to win.
Put the pressure on Scunny and hopefully get out of the bottom 4.
We played extremely well yesterday and we have to follow it up with a win.

1) will applaud Stuart when he walks out
2) I will refrain from shouting city reject at Rory and before the match may even join in a chorus of OOOh Rory McArdle whilst he warms up.
3) I promise, out of respect for a true city legend, not to chant Your getting sacked in the morning at Stuart.
Apart from that, gloves are off, I hope we stuff them by 4 or 5, Stuart knows the score, he’s hardly going to be destitute, and won’t hold it against us.SJBantam, Ricky, Hugh Jarse and 13 others like this. -

It must be nice to be in a position to decide which games you want to win.

We need to catch Scunthorpe and get out of the bottom four. No room for sentiment.
We've had one good result. Let's not start taking it for granted that we're safe. Lose on Saturday and we're potentially deep in the shit again.city exile, BradfordBanter, Aireboro Bantam and 12 others like this. -
are we seriously saying that with our current predicament we can afford to compromise in terms of points gained against teams in and around us? seriously?! bloody hell.
i gaurantee this, if it comes down to us vs scunthorpe for the last relegation place at the end of april and mccall is still in a job there’ll be absolutely zero compromise from him or the scunthorpe players and fans.
effectively, by saying we don’t want to win as it may cost mccall his job is putting his job with another club as priority over what is best for bradford city.
i honestly can’t believe we are having this conversation.Tolly856, City-since-67, WilsdenBantam and 10 others like this. -
With regards fellow posters comments about how the entry of the"Legend" would go I personally thought everything about today showed class from us fans.
Dave Hopkin IMO came out that few minutes early to allow Stuart to take the accolades he deserved, we saluted him and then got behind Dave Hopkin's side 100% and gave them the vocal support they deserved.Inspector, gildersomebantam, Idlebantam and 10 others like this. -

Personally, I will give him a round of applause before the game, but after that I hope we see our boys come out on top similar to yesterday, so for me, I would love to see us win 4-0city exile, How, CT Bantam and 9 others like this. -

It's Bradford City FC v Scunthorpe United FC on Saturday. We potentially could be outside the relegation zone come Saturday evening. In defeat we could be 6 points adrift of safety from relegation.
It really is straight forward IMO. Aim to win the game, avoid defeat. A genuine 6 pointer, one that could have serious ramifications on BCFC.RCarol, WilsdenBantam, Utters0 and 9 others like this. -
Honestly bizarre that people would walk out of the ground happy that we were still in the relegation zone and about to face Sunderland away just so McCall can get another few weeks.
Let's have done with it and call ourselves McCall FC.Aireboro Bantam, How, brisbanebantams and 8 others like this. -

Easily the best performance Doyle has put in.
His touch was excellent, and just like things seem to have 'clicked' for the likes of Payne, O'Brien, Miller and Ball, Doyle seems to have come in and been right at the races.
I've been very critical of Doyle's performances, and while I believe Miller is the better centre forward, if Doyle can prove he is one of the best finishers at the club and continue working properly for the team (today was his hardest working performance so far), there's no question that while the team is playing like this, he'll get chances, and thus (hopefully) he'll take them.
Ball, for me, is a must-sign in the Summer. He'll be on a free, and while Payne is probably everybody's ideal but might be slightly beyond our reach (who knows?), I think Ball is absolutely realistic and should be signed ASAP.Inspector, Pineapple Salesman, gildersomebantam and 8 others like this. -

Stuart will get my applause prior to kick off.
From there, I want the intensity, drive and energy witnessed in the last two home league wins. Don't care about Scunthorpe.
A must imo for this game is not to lose. We have still defensive frailties, which will be exposed from time to time. A win would be a perfect Christmas tonic. -

I imagine we would line up exactly the same as we did against Walsall, fitness permitting. There seems to be no logic in changing the team after the Walsall result.
