It'll depend on how good and proactive these three new scouts are. They've clearly already been at it a good while and will no doubt come with instant recommendations for certain players they've already been tracking. Whether or not any of that turns up in January we'll have to see.

Its maybe our offer wasn’t big enough to make it worth him being a full time pro. That’s the mostly likely explanation?

 

Its a possibility but i can't see it. It would have been his chance to get into a full time set up. As Dennis says, it looks like his demands were out of our price range.

I believe we can take a positive out of this recruitment change. I would agree that this is a change implemented by Adam’s.
However, there is one good thing this points to, Adam’s is here to stay. We can’t expect promotion this year, we don’t want to admit it but these three recruitment scouts are working towards next season (and not the January window before anyone dares say it )
Fingers crossed for next season, at least we know now that Adam’s has his feet firmly under the table and that he isn’t going anywhere. Here to stay, rebuild year yet again (but a serious one this time), promotion 2022/23 season.

It’s funny, cos I’m just re-reading his autobiography at the months. Need more honest pro’s like him in football. Any sort of leader like him at City during the last couple of years and we wouldn’t be where we are now.

happy with the change but think its fairly stupid we waited until after the transfer window closed to do it, and now have even more dross on the books that will need shifting. I thought the Turnbull appointment was a good idea but appointing DA who doesn't seem down to work like that was then pretty stupid. Happy we're backing DA though and if the little bits of rumour on here about unhappy players are true I hope we back him again, otherwise it will be our 6th manager in however long which is no way to succeed if you aren't Chelsea.

 

Sounds like we've finally splashed out a couple of hundred euro on Wyscout.

 

Hopefully the restructure of player recruitment works and Adams does get us promoted this season.
Not sure Adams is Mr Perfect though hopefully come the new year we are in a positional to improve the squad and push on for promotion. I was really impressed by the Chelsea Manager at the weekend taking the blame for defeat . Would DA do that ?

At the start of the season we we’re playing well and creating lots of chances. Let’s hope when the injured are back we can return to that level again.
