Oh come on , the higher up the league we finish , we progress…The lower the league position , we regress.
So yes we did progress but clearly not sufficient by any means of one’s imagination, inc mine . Let’s not play around with the English language, it’s bastardised enough as it is

 

Definitely with you on the appointments, the last several appointments I’ve had no arguments with.
Each and every manager has played what I would call quite cautious football, with very little ambition and lack of attacking intent.
We seem to have a repeated mindset of worrying about the opposition.
It’s high time we, as a club, had a winning mentality and we really don’t.

 

All about opinions mate
We failed last year whether we had progress or not remains to be seen
If we build on that "progress" then fair enough if not it counts for nothing

 

100% agree Steve.

 

During Parky’s time we finished each season higher than the year before that’s progress. We definitely have made big strides off the field if only we can replicate it on it. If Hughes fails us I don’t know where we will turn next

 

Success breeds success. Successful clubs (in terms of on field success) are, on the whole, successful off the field too.
We have made progress. This club was a basket case only a few years ago thanks to that megalomaniac Rahic. The damage he inflicted almost bankrupted this club. As a result we lost what being Bradford City means. This lead,in my opinion, to some terrible managerial appointments. Some of those appointments smacked of desperation whilst others were clearly not the right fit for the culture of Bradford City.
It's not been an overnight process to put right all of the fk up Rahic made. And Sparks and co have made a few on the way. But I sense that we're past those now and the only way is up.

 

Don’t disagree with some of your points, but my post was about off-field progression and whether that has come from local based business’ or not, there is clearly advancements made since Sparks came in. What I see are steps towards making the club an attractive proposition for investors, wherever & however they come. Recent years level of funding balanced with the on-field budget has meant this has had to be a slower process than we probably would have liked. Begs the question, what really are Rupp’s log term intentions?? This I understand fans frustration at.

For what it’s worth, On-field is a mixed bag for me. I hoped for promotion last season and was disappointed in both the outcome and how we got there - that we fell short in the end. However I’ll use the word progression again, which for me last season was certainly this, without been jaw dropping.

 

Abroad....we have tried everything else. See if that Wolf fella from Germany finally available.
