Employing Hughes would be like a league one club bringing in Ronaldo. The revenue on the back of his appointment alone would, I imagine set us up for a few years. The increased season ticket sales, i-follow receipts, sponsorship, media interest, have all put this club back in the spotlight. As CEO you'd be mad to turn down Mark Hughes at the time of his appointment. Crowds were falling, supporters disenchanted, no decent managers with a fraction of the chrisma or experience that Hughes has. On the pitch we're not far away, and the January recruitment has given me more confidence of success if we did finish in the play offs, than before the window. That would be down to Gent, Hughes, Hodges and Sparks.

What happens on the pitch has nothing to do with the CEO of any club.

Do you decide 'how it works' then? You probably know things that I don't. It's not hard to find this information however considering Sparks revealed it himself in an interview. I get that he has allies on social media platforms trying to control the narrative. I wish him well but being CEO is not about playing games to protect a reputation, extended luncheon breaks or coming 3rd in a go cart race. It about making the correct decisions for the business going forward and attracting income streams to sustain success at the University of Bradford stadium.

Rupp will ok the budget. If Sparks is involved in the say of a player then this club really is in trouble.
