Not a fan of his but I think Hopkin has played a blinder. Puts the ball firmly in their courts. They’ve got to sort themselves out if they’re to get a game. If not, they’re off to a level I doubt either player sees himself at.

 

You do realise the transfer window is closed mate and they will be staying for at least 6 months.

 

As Hopkin pointed out earlier, the non league transfer window is still open.

 

yet he slacked off 90 seconds before half-time, we went in 1-0 down and chasing the game when we were arguably the better team in the first half. he didn’t get slated on social media, tagged in videos of the incident and called lazy.

but at that moment, he was - and it cost us.

I agree with you that it is not Wright’s fault that he is paid what he is and he has every right to see out his contract. However, if he wants to play football it will not be with us as he has not been good enough when played.

To suggest that we give him 5-10 minutes at the end of a game to keep him in the shop window is very naive indeed. Right now we need players up for the relegation battle we are in, not Wright, who to be honest has shown nowhere near enough quality or attitude to justify a place anywhere near our team.

DH is clearly a good man manager, can quickly identify the bad apples and is getting the best out of what he has.

He has a superb back room set up now to properly look after the players in all aspects. Hardly the actions of a bully. More those of a caring and capable manager who understands the game and how to look after players.

Wright and Riley are clearly not cutting the mustard for whatever reason.

Bradford City are skint. This isn't anything to do with ability. You're not that foolish to believe that are you?

 

It's clearly based on both. They've done nothing of note in a city shirt. And they're on high wages.

Hopkin sees them every day. If he wants shut and doesn't want to include them in the squad, that's good enough for me.

The fact that neither could get move, despite having a month to do so, also tells a story
