WTF!!

 

The whole thing has more of a Stefan feel than an Edin statement. Maybe words have been put in his mouth?

 

He made mistakes but he didn’t run away when it went south. He put everything on the line to turn us around

 

I think once they confined they had the money to buy the club and sustain it going forward, what else can they dictate to the owners?

They will always say the right things to buy the club and in football management and players change fast anyway. No matter what they said.

They kept mason but even he found it difficult and left. But that was all with hindsight. It’s not like you can let them have a trial run and then take back over if it goes wrong

I actually dont agree. I think the pair of them are panicking about relegation and think Rhodes can genuinely help. Julian wont have come back without some gurantees that he will be listened to.
I understand fans being skeptical but I dont think this is just a PR stunt.
The big question is the investment for me and who is going to pay to improve the squad.
I also dont believe for a minute that Edin called Rhodes on Sunday. I imagine this has been in the pipeline for a while.

How could he not realise the error of his ways? He's single handedly decimated the club. Whilst it might be better to have someone with Julian Rhodes' experience consulting, it's a sticking plaster at best. Edin Rahic is not capable, experienced or secure enough to be involved in running a professional football club. What single positive thing does he add? Unless he is completely sidelined Rhodes may end sustaining the current "model" and managing a slightly slower decline.

 

Don't worry.

We're in for Kieffer Moore.

 

Might help if he had players available. I'm confident to say that if we had a full compliment of players then we would have more points on the board, albeit every club has injuries

The fact we've got so many injured, we're like any club and having to use the youngsters or the fact that if you take the first team, it was expected to be by now, there wouldn't be a single 'youngster' in it. Mellor would be played instead of Riley. Chicksen instead of Wood. The midfield could be any four from Reeves, Wright, Akpan, Payne, Scannell and then Doyle and Ball up top. Only Miller perhaps would get into this team

Note, I'm not saying it's a great team - but I don't where you're coming from. To me this got largely abandoned this summer. The idea was that we sign decent youngsters, like Miller, Riley, O'Brien (albeit he's on loan) and Wood who would develop. But in fairness we also signed six decent more experienced pro's (or so we thought at the time) plus Payne on loan. I don't see how this can possibly been seen as "developing you at any expense"

 

Looks like the whole club doesn’t fit into Edins long term system. Ummm wonder why he has brought back the old system to sort it all out for him! I will just leave that there for you.

If we go into admin then creditors again will be effected- just when the club had repaired a lot of bridges following previous admins - with the business community. We also would be looking at relegation as would we not have points deducted? A good FA cup run with a money spinning tie would definitely help but given the squad I will not hold my breath based on the season so far.

 

As has been put to me, why would Julian want to tarnish his reputation by getting involved in a R&R admin?

 

Offer 'em £2 mill to go home Jules!

 

..or Dave B..certainly need the position filling with knowhow.
