This latest development is just a sop to try and quiet discontent. Knowing how much Rhodes disliked anything to do with publicity, it's going to do nothing to improve communications between those at the top and the fans either.

Another false dawn? Another 'second coming' that promises much but may bring nothing? Time will tell.

 

I have no faith whatsoever that this isn't just the latest in a long line of terrible events in 2018. Does anyone think that Rahic will actually sit down, hear , listen properly AND then act on the advice he gets? I just can't see it. All the evidence suggests that he won't. This whole sorry episode has simply gone on far too long, too many bridges have been burnt and all faith lost (mine at least). Until Rahic goes for good, I remain an absentee season ticket holder, will never set foot in VP again nor proffer a single penny their way.

 

If I was Edin I'd be feeling like a spare pr*ck right about now. If only it'd be enough to shame him out of the club.

As for what this fixes I'm not immediately sure. Does the chain of command go Rupp>Rhodes>Hopkin with Rahic looking on from the sidelines?

Actually, having thought about it Rhodes>Hopkin would be the more ideal set up with Rupp just providing the funds and Rahic twiddling his thumbs somewhere far from VP.

There's no chance. As RCB posted we need to average 1.55 points per game from here to reach the usual minimum. 2 points per game is top 2 form, really are we gonna achieve that?
Who else is there to blame than Rahic?
Rupp sat in his racing car driving round tracks that he loves?
Or the man who knows football, day by day driving the club downwards?
Rupp should have been closer but ultimately ER is the one to blame

Exactly, which shows he's trying to learn from mistakes. I think he's just pretty bad at running a football club. He may be ok at other things but not football.

 

Edin knows football, Julian knows football clubs in admin. Could come in useful.

 

Well I think it is a bit premature to make that assumption. He has already kicked Julian out once. If he is now ready to listen then he will learn.
