As far as I can tell we would face a 10/12 point penalty deduction, which I guess would be the final nail in the coffin!

Does Rahic really want that on his CV, coupled to the massive downturn in profits of the hydraulics firm he ran? That would surely finish any vaugue hopes for lucrative employment.

Rahic and Rupp would be better off to ‘gift’ the club to new owners, be it Rhodes and/or others.

I can understand why Julian would accept the offer to help. Non of this can be thrown at him and there is no doubting he is a fan. It’s all Rahic. Plus Rhodes is the only one of us who will have any sympathy for an owner who is finding it tough. It can’t be easy. Yes, Rahic is fully responsible for all that has happened but he has only made one mistake. That mistake was that he thought he knew better than anyone else and he implemented his plan. Correcting the cause is easily rectified. Take him out of control. Only then can we start turning it around. Can we limit the damage?... yes but we will have to start all over again.

If or when we get relegated will the owners have the desire to take us back to the brink of the Championship? I’d say no. Rather than put money in just to get us back to League One and where we were in League One when they took over will take even further investment. I think they’ll want out.

The man who is CO, Owner and Head of Football would appear to be omnipotent. There is no statement that he has stood down from any of these roles. Since he made that comment, a lot of staff have ‘exited’, additionally since James Mason left, the post of Cheif Operating Officer appears to be unfilled.

I'm not buying into the admin rumours.

If indeed Rupp has had enough, I would have thought he will be trying to sell as a going concern. Although I doubt he would now be able to sell at the price he paid, don't think he will go down the admin route.

Time will tell of course, but I still have a hunch that new owners will be at the helm by next summer, either way

The 700k loss is now rumoured to have doubled. 1.4million and rising isn’t something Rupp can ignore.

Who was the last football league club to go into admin?

I don’t think it will get that far

    Coventry city in 2013.

I hope we won't end up in administration but it is a worry.

There has been mention of the club seeking early payment for 'Box's.

Also a totally unsubstantiated rumour about the ability to pay the players. Perhaps the latter is mischievous, but sometimes there is some truth in these allegations.

Rupp has a moral obligation to ensure funds are made available to avoid administration. He is jointly responsible for our mess.

It would ba a complete disaster for our club in too many ways to mention.

He has sat back and let someone with just 20% ownership ruin everything the club had built in 18 months. His morals are worth nothing.

Up to now he hasn't covered himself with glory, that's evident. Maybe Rupp has instigated the recent change.
Not saying he will but he could and should sort this with further investment.
If he did, he would redeem himself in the eyes of City fans and the wider football community and in the long term, with the right appointments and with some luck, maybe get a return on his investment.

Ok let’s speculate as to how we might have acquired this overdraft alledgedly. I am presuming we are not paying bonus, so players will be on basic pay.i accept the revenue went down this year, but that still doesn’t account for this amount? Either somebody’s maths is horrendous or there is a valid explanation, and please do not tell me how expensive the electricity and water bills are.

Well for what period was the £700k loss for? It would make sense that the figure had doubled since that time.

Well yes if you keep overspending. I thought Rupp got rid of the deficit, it was accumulating due to spending season ticket money that should have been designated for the following season. I remember him saying that it had been taken care of at the POTY awards. Not sure how though, as no investment sums have been made.

You can’t keep spending without paying anything back, at some point the bank is going to call a halt.

Good question. They were big at sponsoring boxing matching matches but don't seem to be doing anymore.

I think this admin thing is a rumour spinning out of control. In the recent past we were in the black. How can we be possibly be going into admin for a relatively small deficit of £1.5m (if that’s true).

There’s clubs in a lot worse financial dire straits than us.

Sounds like a load of worry about nothing to me.
