What is the long term system, pray tell us? It's certainly not evident from what has been done at the club.

No consistent style of play, 4 managers in a year, well over 50 players played in a year, no actual 'development' route anymore, not being reliant on loan signings....

Would love to see what the long term system is.

Interesting that basically the first thing Rhodes said was David's job is to get us to 20th by the end of the season!!

He is clearly trying to play on our heart strings to keep us on side. Truth is, his behaviour is just pushing us further and further away. USING GOOD PEOPLE flippantly to try save his own skin. WHAT A MESS!

Im not sure on the ins and outs but iam led to I believe that Rupp is ready to wash his hands of the club and his investment and Rhodes will take the club out of admin if it does come to that.

 

Just when you think you can see some light, it is gone.

 

Look on the bright side if Rupp has had enough and is willing to sell or let the club go into admin, Julian getting involved has got to be a better option than complete strangers again.
Maybe with the likes of Julian & Dave Baldwin as the figure heads they could get a few interested parties on board ?.
Sorry no pics they weren't on the front pitch and I wasnt trailing all the way around to the back pitches hoping they might be there, Id think they will be traveling down on Friday.

 

It's a pretty obvious rumour to start with Rhodes coming back and having previous experience with admin and the processes etc. I'm not saying you're starting the rumours by the way but it's very easy to put 2 + 2 together.

 

I think it has been posted several times by different posters there are interested parties watching the situation.

 

I agree. My information comes from the same person who said Rhodes would be returning which turned out to be true. The information is involving insolvency who have been involved with the club previously.

 

If we go into admin then creditors again will be effected- just when the club had repaired a lot of bridges following previous admins - with the business community. We also would be looking at relegation as would we not have points deducted? A good FA cup run with a money spinning tie would definitely help but given the squad I will not hold my breath based on the season so far.

 

Suppose it depends if the posters posting have reliable information rather than repeating something someone has made up on social media.

As has been put to me, why would Julian want to tarnish his reputation by getting involved in a R&R admin?

 

Fair point, we can do no more that see what the near future holds, whatever situation arises there is only one owner who can try and turn it around.
We need experianced players bringing in quickly to give us a chance of turning the season around, Hopkin says they are asking silly money in some cases, I suggest Stefan needs to bite the bullet and give Julian the go ahead to bring someone in ASAP that to me is a test of how serious the owners are, January is too late IMO.
