can't see him going to barnsley. he doesn't fit their style of play, improve their starting 11 or fall into their ethos on development - not unless he's going to be cover for injuries.

 

He's said himself that he's struggled with us because of the crowds/expectations of his move and personally I think he's an average league 2 player who is decent on his day. I've never got the feeling he's warmed to being here and I can't understand a player of that price tag going away on loan. If he really wanted to be here why didn't he stay to fight it out for his spot. We'll just have to agree to disagree but for me there is not a chance someone will give us a decent fee for him.

Personally I'd prefer him to go with very few exceptions the less of this squad we have next season the better.

 

Shame to see Paudie & Woods leaving. Guess I can understand Woods though as he did seem to be made of paper. Paudie really will be a loss though, too good for L2 I guess & Leeds want hi elsewhere

 

I imagine we've still plenty in the budget Idle, I can't imagine the two of them are costing too much? I do agree we have to shift some of the other crap.

I think that's fair enough. They'll be cheap and they obviously have the sort of attitude Bowyer likes. The bigger point is really that we need to shift Akpan and Wright, then reinvest their considerable wages into better players who'll be expected to start and perform regularly.
