Easily MOTM and head and shoulders above anything on the pitch from either side. Was good to see someone who wanted the ball and to then try start a move which unfortunately must have shocked the rest of the team as they were on a different frequency!! Onwards and upwards for him if he can keep fit.

What positive waves have come out of the club exactly? You may be in more of a position to see the positives effects of GB’s work. From the perspective of an ‘ordinary’ fan we are going playing next season in the toilet division and the signings so far are hardly awe inspiring. We still have the burden of last years oxygen wasters.
Fans take positivity from the results on the pitch and the position in the league - not from bull crap statements made in the local rag.

I believe Bowyer will know what the situation is when the players officially return for training I believe 24th June with regards Jake.
As Reeves is on his last 12 months and Bowyer has introduced him back with a scouting mission and hopefully more on the actual footballing side of things, as you say I don't think we can gamble with anything players or otherwise, as a club we have to show that we can bounce back and build on what was a nightmare 2018/19 season.

Gone back to the last one and merged it for you. That was started in May 2019. I thought Bowyer was of the view that he had potential to go into coaching/management? Given Bowyer's own early retirement from playing, due to injury, it does make you think.......

Tbh, I think the managers, Hopkins especially, tried to bull us and keep us hoping - but let me tell you Hopkins was THE worst manager the players have ever worked under, at any club they had previously played at.

The subject of Reeves is so boring. It’s like a broken record!

Do people really think he’ll make a difference..... it’s a no from me.

What ever the situation is hopefully he wil be back sooner rather than later, but even when he is fit he will only be introduced from the bench I would think.
So maybe we wont see a fully fit Jake Reeves who can do 90 minutes before the New Year.

When, or if, the information comes out about Jake, I think people would be abit more understanding.

Sometimes things don't have to be said as they are that obvious, whether it's physical or mental he has every right to keep his medical situation private like anyone else does. I'd confidently guess he's had more support in the few months from Boywer than he has in the 18 or so months since the injury which has probably set him back.

All the signs are that one way or another it's a mental problem either as mental health or a mental block in thinking any pain is worse than it is and these are almost impossible to put a recovery time on as people recover differently and there's not a set way of measuring how bad it is unlike a pulled hamstring.

Simon Parker says there will be a bit about him in the T&A tomorrow so we might get some more information then but even if we don't we should let the club and the relevant medical experts help him recover how they see fit.

It makes me sad to read some comments made on the T&A and even on here regards Reeves situation, a player for our club. Agree, the nature of communication on his situation hasn’t been over informative. However lets face it, it’s quite obvious from what has been reported that this situation is simply more than physical. As the article says, I’d like to think Reeves is contributing in some capacity whilst he isn’t physically ready to play and as fans we don’t half the stuff what actually happens behind the scenes, we mostly speculate.

I’d like to think as a supporters we can a little more empathy for situations such as Reeves and perhaps, more than other clubs. If Bowyer says he’s working towards coming back then great, I hope he does and I for one would be more than happy to see Reeves in a city shirt again.

Tough times for Reeves, his contract up in the summer, i'd very much doubt anyone would take a risk on a player who as it stands hasn't played for going on two years. I'd like to see in him in a city shirt again but i highly doubt it.

Ive aready said how Bowyer will bring him back and get him match fit the same way as managers do with any player, even after two years.
Whats the point in sending him out on loan I believe his contract is up at the end of this season.
With his situation Bowyer says he will nurse him back and he's correct that should be done by Bradford City not any other club.
